Hunting, To Put It Simply [WC hunt patrol]

Dappleshine watched, holding her breath as the ex-SkyClan tom attempted to catch the rabbit that had appeared from a tunnel entrance, and felt his disappointment as it fled before he even had a chance. Padding up to his side, she touched her tail gently to his flank. "Rabbits are so difficult to catch, especially if you haven't been hunting them your whole life. We would see some rabbits crossing into RiverClan, but never many - you did well to even get that close. I know you can do it." She smiled at the tom before padding away in search of the next possible bit of prey to add to the fresh kill pile. Anything and everything would help.

A large quail stood among the nearby grass, pecking at the ground in search of any food it could find. Slowly the she-cat approached, until finally she was upon it. Swiftly killing it before it's alarmed screech could alert the rest of the prey around, she carried it back to the patrol.
