Blossoms Bloom New Life(birth Topic)

Blossompetal was a new queen and was happy she had finally settled into her home after moons ago she had lost her parents and was taken into windclan.  Now she had proven herself a warrior and a moon or two later here she was about to be a mother to her mate Smokepelt's kits.  She purred quietly and lick the fur down at her chest before she felt an intense pain.  She figured it was the kits and called for the medicine cat and her mate.

Timeskip~

It was a long time but soon three kits laid nestled at her side and Blossompetal couldn't help but purr happily.  She curled her tail around them. She had given birth to three healthy she kits and the new queen couldn't have been happier.

Sitting beside Blossompetal, Smokepelt watched as the kits squirmed around their mother's belly. So far, they all seemed to be healthy kits, which the old tom was proud of. It'd been quite a while since he'd had kits of his own and now that he thought about it, this would probably be one of his last litters. It was an odd thing to think about, being so old and close to the end of his days, and while he didn't have much to live for before this, he knew he needed to fight a little longer for his new kin, even if he wasn't the most joyous or emotional tom out there.

The cream brown and white she cat smiled some and looked up to Smokepelt whom sat beside her the whole time. Her gaze then look to her three daughters and was lost in thought for a moment before she finally spoke up"we should name them.. If you don't mind helping of course"Blossompetal mewed.

OOC: Roo has her kit named Kindlekit, but Smokepelt would never name a kit after his past daughter, so Blossompetal will have to name her that ;) (no need to reply to this OOC btw lol)

IC: Perking his ears as Blossompetal began to speak, Smokepelt turned his gaze back down to the squirming kits. "Echokit," the raspy voiced warrior began, looking to the marbled she-kit and then scanned his the the next kit, who had a light brown pelt dappled with white spots. "Fawnkit," he added. "And..." Smokepelt mumbled as he looked at the last kit, a she-kit with a dark grey pelt, much like his own.

Blossompetal smiled some as she listened to him name two of their kits loving the names that suited the two really well. She looked to the last kit in thought before she mewed"Kindlekit for the last one"She mewed softly.

Kindlekit? Of call the names she could've chosen, she just so happened to pick his former daughter's name? Wrinkling his nose, the tall tom stayed quiet, simply looking away and not saying a word, but instead giving a soft 'huff'. He wasn't very fond of the kit's name, but he wasn't about to argue with Blossompetal about it, seeing as though this time was meant to be positive.
