Gone So Young(open to RC Cats)

Littlestream felt the grief like a knife to her heart as she carried the body of Pantherkit into Riverclan camp. She felt for all her clanmates thats just how she was so coming across Pantherkit outside of camp his neck torn open by the jaws of a fox hurt. A lot. She moved gently laying the kits body down unable to hold back her tears any longer.

"Littlestream!" Stormstrike rushed to his sister's side, his sunny yellow eyes darkening as he saw the little kit's body. "There, there..." He mewed, resting his bushy tail on his sister's back in a comforting gesture. "Pantherkit is in Starclan now."
He turned to the other cats who had crowded around them. "Someone get Jaystar! Tell him we need to organize a patrol immediately!" One life had already been lost to a fox in the area. If Pantherkit had been found close to camp, that meant that they had to act quickly. A fox in camp could only spell disaster for Riverclan.

Littlestream blinked feelings the tears soak her fur under her eyes as she heard her name. She looked to her brother Stormstrike came over and tried to comfort her. She was greatful for it."I know....hopefully he is happy"She mewed her voice heavy with sadness before she tried to calm her tears. She looked up at her brother smaller then him naturally."I want to help on the patrol"She mewed flicking her tail."we need to get rid of this fox before it gets into camp"She mewed

"NO!" Nutfur's cry shattered any quiet that was still in camp. Her mind hardly able to comprhend what was happening, she ran over to Patherkit's sides, her sides heaving with ragged breaths as she looked at her son's body. Warmth was still in his fur as she pressed her nose against his side, and she could detect the scent of fox on him. Heat swept over her entire body as she stared down at him, legs trembling and eyes burning. "Patherkit! Wake up! Please..." A series of sobs came from her, and she had no control over what her emotions made her do anymore. "Goldeneye!" Her voice was high and trembling, more like a shriek than anything else. This was her son, and he could not just become another body taken by death. Not right after Spotfur and Flamewish. "Fix him!" Though nobody could think there was anyway that the young tom could still be alive, she was far beyond rational thought anymore. Her vision began to grow blurry, and she couldn't tell who was next to her. Heart beating in her throat, she let out a cry of pure agony. He could not be dead.

Minnowslip's pained wails joined Nutfurs at the sight of the dead kit, but soon it curled into a deep growl, her eyes gleaming with boiling rage. "Foxes at our borders again! Was Ivystar's death not enough? Now our kits fall to these beasts."

Kitekit looked on in horror at the sight of blood, whimpering as he ducked back out of the Nursery entrance. Minnowslip cooled her temper, noticing the young tom's presence. She ducked into the nursery to nudge him back into his nest, settling all the kits before coming over to sit by Nutfur's side. Perhaps in the past she'd seen the queen as a traitor, weak-willed, but she would have never wished such a pain upon her. "There, there, Nutfur. Breathe. We will track down this beast and take it down. If it has any cubs, they too will pay for Pantherkit's life."

Heronflight walked towards the commotion after going on a patrol.  He froze.  Pantherkit was dead.  The young tom’s lifeless body had bite marks all over his body, especially on his neck.  No matter what he did and what he might have been, he didn’t deserve this.  Nobody deserved to be ripped apart by a fox.  The gray tabby tom paused for a while before finally saying, ”May StarClan light your path, Pantherkit.”

Wrenbreeze and Larkpaw were distraught.  Badgerpaw was not here.
