It's Flurrying Daisies! (closed)

Padding along the ShadowClan border, Daisyflame kept his chin up and sniffed the air as he walked, keeping his guard up for any possible encounter. Every now and then, he'd mark a spot along the border, making sure to keep up on maintaining the invisible line that separated ShadowClan from the rest. As of late, nothing out of the ordinary had really happened, so the tom's pelt was relaxed as he wasn't too worried about anything this particular evening.

"Hillfire!" a voice meowed from the distance. The calling cat was not yet seen through the thicket of trees and bushes on the other side of the Thunderpath, but soon movement of pure white could be seen weaving through the dark shades of green.

It had been many sunrises since Hillfire's banishment from RiverClan, and even though she had moved on with a new mate, Flurryshine still wanted to find her old love again. She needed to at least tell him goodbye, and that he was the father of two beautiful kits. She had looked all over in RiverClan territory, hoping he had tried sneaking back into his old home again, but her search was fruitless. She decided to extend to Fourtrees where he, Lichenmask, the other followers, and the leaders and deputies assembled all those nights ago.

She padded up to the Thunderpath and stared out at ShadowClan's territory that rested on the other side. She knew she shouldn't trespass, and she wasn't exactly going to, but she still needed to check to see if Hillfire was trespassing there. She would just stand on the Thunderpath and stare out through the dark pine trees and marshes; if Hillfire would be there, his silver pelt would be able to stick out like a blossom in a mud puddle.

She padded across the Thunderpath and narrowed her green eyes, staring out. All of a sudden, the ground beneath her began to tremble, and the terrifying roar of an incoming monster grew louder and louder. Flurryshine let out a squeal and leaped onto ShadowClan's side just before the monster's giant black paws flattened her against the sticky black stone, and she blindly raced into enemy territory for a few heartbeats before calming down and slowing herself to a halt. She panted, heart racing wildly, at the near-death experience.

Well... she couldn't see Hillfire from where she stood, and now that she was actually in ShadowClan's territory she still couldn't find him. Perhaps he's not here either. With a soft, sad sigh, Flurryshine turned back to the Thunderpath, looking both ways as she stood by the edge, readying herself to cross again before a ShadowClan cat caught her.

Hearing pawsteps a little ways ahead, Daisyflame's ears perked up and his fur stood on end as he stalked through a line of thick brush that sat along the Thunderpath. Spotting an unusual looking cat, the warrior's fur stood on end as he readied himself for a fight. No matter what their excuse was, this cat was trespassing onto his clan's territory, and he wasn't going to take it lightly.

Leaping into the opening, about a foxlength or so away from the cat, her distinct RiverClan scent caught his attention. "Hey! What do you think you're doing here?" Daisyflame mewed strongly, standing up tall and flexing his claws. And why in the world was she so far away from RiverClan's borders? He also wondered, but kept his thoughts to himself.

Flurryshine's fur immediately fluffed up at the unexpected voice, having not heard or scented Daisyflame's approach, and out of instinct she whipped around and slashed her claws across his muzzle. Once she realized just what she had done, she gulped nervously. "O-Oh!... Um... Sorry? I was just looking for my missing mate and I had to come to your territory to avoid being squashed by a monster." Her ears twitched uneasily. She knew this ShadowClanner must be furious now, especially after her attack.

Letting out a hiss as she slashed her claws along his muzzle, Daisyflame was ready to fight back. "Well you should know your boundaries," he growled and lunged at the she-cat, knocking her over and holding her down under paw-fulls of sharp claws.

Flurryshine squealed as she was clawed and pinned, struggling to twist out of his grip. Unfortunately, she was still weak from kitting a few sunrises ago, so she didn’t have the strength to fight him off.

Continuing to dig his claws into the she-cat's pelt for a few more moments, Daisyflame let go and jumped off, waiting for her next move.

Flurryshine stumbled up to her paws once she was able to, and immediately she noticed the tufts of white fur stuck between Daisyflame's claws, knowing that the hairs came from her own pelt -- that her beautiful, perfect pelt was now ruined by this fox-heart of a ShadowClan cat. Vision turning red, she howled, "You're going to pay for that!" With a furious caterwaul, she launched herself at the tom and gnashed her teeth hard into his scruff, holding him down with a snarl that was muffled by ginger-and-white fur, digging her claws deep into his shoulders.

Hissing as he was pinned down, the tom tried to wriggle out from under her, but it was no use. 'I can't lose, not to a RiverClanner!' he thought to himself nervously.

"How do you like this, you filthy rogue? Not so nice now, is it?" Flurryshine shoved Daisyflame's face deep into the soft dirt of his own territory, her claws digging into the side of his head.

Hissing, he reached up, in attempt to bite at her neck, but the she-cat was just out a reach and was still holding on. "How dare you call me a rogue!" he growled back, his blood boiling.

"Oh, I dare," the fluffy white queen snarled. She growled in frustration when she lost her grip on the ShadowClan warrior, and she leaped away before he could attack again. Finding an opening, she rushed forward, reared up on her hind paws, and slashed her claws across his muzzle.
