Going out for a run (Patrol)

Mistpaw sat patiently by the camp entrance, her mother, Brindlestar having promised to have her deputy put her on the morning patrol which she had followed up with truthfully. Though, she was unsure of when her compatriots would be joining her.

Deerpaw stretched as he got up from his nest among those of the other apprentices', noting that Mistpaw's was empty. He turned and saw the she-cat beside the camp entrance. Trotting over to his friend, he gave her flank a touch with the tip of his tail as a greeting. He'd be joining this patrol today and was happy to spend time with her. Even if they literally saw each other every day.

Foxspirit woke up and stretched her legs. Today she plans to go on a patrol. The Young warrior trotted out of the warriors den. Even though she only recently had her ceremony, she felt like everyone now depended on her.  She walked towards the gathering apprentices. "Is this were the morning patrol is gathering?" Foxspirit asked. "If it is, can I join?"

Deerpaw glanced at the ginger she-cat and shrugged. They needed a warrior to even go out of camp, so she might as well join them. Still, he looked to Mistpaw to see if it was alright with her. If this were to be the morning patrol, they should leave as soon as they could; otherwise the heat of the day would catch up to them.

Thornpaw scrambled towards the group, excitement clearly visible in his eyes. “There you are!” He squeaked, his voice high-pitched with anticipation as he skidded to halt. This would be first ever morning patrol! “We don’t hafta wait for a warrior, we could just sneak out! I’ve done it before!!”

Darkpaw strode up to the group and rolled his eyes. He shrugged one of his shoulders as a way to say that he was going too.

Swiftstep padded up to the forming patrol and nodded another greeting to Mistpaw then smiled to the others. He himself had placed Mistpaw in this patrol after Brindlestar had spoken with him. "I'll be going too if ya'll don't mind." he said with a grin. He didn't mind patroling with the younger cats once in a while.
