Lionpaw watched, smiling at his father´s efforts to help the she cat.

-I know you can do it Blazeflight, don´t give up yet- said the young tom, trying to encourage her, he then turned and went to search for another prey.

The reassurance from Scorchfang was definitely helpful, and she watched with a curious look adorning her face as he lifted his leg and tail. Furrowing a nonexistent brow as he experimented, she subconsciously lowered her own body in a similar manner. Her best guess was that he might be trying to simulate what it was like, missing portions of your body. It most definitely would not be the same, but nonetheless, she appreciated the younger toms efforts. She listened to his explanation, frowning slightly. She didn't want to disappoint him if it didn't work. It was more help than anyone else had ever thought to offer, so she wasn't about to turn it down."Alright." There was a shred of determination in her voice, hardly noticeable but still there.

Sniffing the air for any possible trace of prey that hadn't been scared off by her terrible gait, she caught a whiff of a toad. She slowly made her way towards it, purposefully trying to avoid any leaves or twigs that might diminish her efforts in trying to stay quiet. When she finally managed to spot the toad hiding in a particularly muddy part of the marsh, she lowered her body like Scorchfang had instructed. Before she had a chance to pounce, she heard a slight growl coming from behind her. Before she could look back, the dog had leaped towards her, grabbing onto her scruff and shaking ruthlessly. "Sc-Scorchfang!"

Blazeflight's vision blurred as she was thrown to the side, the dog rushing towards her; in his mind, she was nothing more than something to pass the time. Before she even had a chance to get up and fight, possibly for her life, the dog was running towards her at full-speed once again. She yowled in pain, grimacing as it's large teeth broke skin and muscle, shredding her bright orange fur.

With a nasty snarl towards the fluffy black cat that drug it's claws down its flank, the giant black dog turned around. All it wanted to do was play!! It shook off the apprentice on its tail, running back towards the russet colored she-cat it had come across before. Something wasn't quite right about her, but it didn't care. She was its new chew toy, and it wasn't about to give her up now! Racing forwards, it bit down on the only hind leg the she-cat had, biting down as hard as it could.

The Dog used Iron Bite, dealing 30 Damage and using 20 Stamina Points. Blazeflight is stunned for 1 more turn.

Scorchfang’s eyes widened with terror when he watched the dog toss Blazeflight away. He leaped into action immediately, racing over to the dog and, with a snarl, leaped at it and slammed hard into its side, slamming his claws through its fur into its skin. He needed to get this brute away from Blazeflight at all costs!

Lionpaw´s eyes widened in terror, he had to do something! Blazeflight was in great danger, so he didn´t think twice, he took distance and charged at the dog, enough to make it stumble and focus on him, he hissed loudly at it.

It was nearly impossible for Blazeflight to move when taking into consideration the combination of shock and pain she was enduring. Her muscles ached in the places where the dog's teeth had dug through her skin, bursting through the flesh like flowers through the snow in Newleaf. If it hadn't been for the extensive yowl that Lionpaw leashed out, the russet she-cat wouldn't have noticed the two tomcats fighting in her near-absence of consciousness. The words that passed Lionpaw's maw were inaudible past the intense ringing in her ears, which profusely disregarded her pleads to go away. She bathed in contempt for her inaction, her infirmity when her Clanmates needed her to be resilient.

Blazeflight is no longer Stunned.

Ow! The large black dog fell to the ground whenever the big ball of dark-colored fur crashed into his side. His ineptitude in battle was undeniable, but that didn't prove that he was helpless when it came to fending the cats off. Before his heart was able to pump another course of adrenaline through his veins, another pair of smaller claws raked through his side. This was a much scantier cat in size and likely experience, so he figured even the most diminutive amount of pain would cause him to scurry away in a fit of displeasure. He got up quickly as a low snarl simultaniously built up in his throat. He was all but dripping with rage for the two toms that dared to step in his way, and his deep brown eyes flickered between the two cats, attempting to decide which one to attack first. Training his gaze on the larger, fluffier one, he raced forwards, muscles rippling beneath his thick pelt. Unsure of what to do when he found himself practically on top of the black tom, he raised a clumsy paw and smashed it into the cats side, sending him crashing to the ground with minimal effort.

Scorchfang turned to Lionpaw as he shouted his command, and immediately he shook his head. "There is no way I'm leaving my son here to fight off a dog! You will stay out of this fight -- climb a tree, hide behind a bush, do something to stay safe from this thing -- and take Blazeflight with you!" He didn't like having to keep Blazeflight out of a fight, but there was no way he was going to risk her or his son getting killed. "This is not up for debate! Go now--!" Just as he said that, the dog's thick, heavy paw slammed hard into his side, sending him flying to the ground.

He snarled in fury, shaking his head impatiently to clear it of his temporary dizziness, and he rushed back at the dog. When he was close enough, he leaped and slammed into the dog's side, managing to knock it over, and he gripped its back hard with his sharp claws, feeling the warm release of the creature's foul-smelling blood.

Scorchfang used Leap-and-Hold on Dog, dealing 14 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Lionpaw lowered his ears at his father´s words, he was right, he was just an apprentice, he was no match for a dog... he had no choice but to obey, so he ran up to Blazeflight, grabbed her with his teeth by the scruff of her neck trying to not injure her more and started dragging her away, as fast as he could, to hide in a nearby bush.

Blazeflight gently shook Lionpaw from off of her scruff, purposefully disobeying Scorchfang's direct orders. She wasn't about to let him fight the dog alone, that would only prove the points she'd made about herself earlier. Running as fast as her three legs would carry her, she made an effort to hit the dog with as much force as she could possibly muster. Thank StarClan Scorchfang was there, because he had helped distract the dog enough that it hit him by surprise. Her hit wasn't enough to knock Scorchfang off of the dogs back, which she knew was a good thing. Grinning with satisfaction she took a step back to give Scorchfang room to make his own move.

Blazeflight used Run-and-Tackle, dealing 16 Damage with the Element of Surprise on her side, and used 10 Stamina Points.
