Lilykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Briskly nosing several stubborn stray hairs back into place, Brindlewhisker's shoulders ached from the intensity of the stretch as she hurriedly finished her grooming. Giving herself one final vigorous shake, the brindled Deputy's movements were swift and sure as she pulled herself atop the Tallrock. The smooth surface of the looming stone felt lively with the pleasant warmth of the day, resulting in a soft exhale from the she-cat as she settled herself upright. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" Brindlewhisker yowled, voice resonating with the familiar strength that was associated with the ancient summons.

lillykit heard the voice of here deputy calling for a clan meeting and knew what it meant. it meant she would become a apprentice and this clan meeting was al for here. fun of excitement she walked to the tall rock and set down letting here one eye focus on the deputy.

Gazing down at the clearly exuberant Lilykit, amusement bubbled up from within the depths of Brindlewhisker's gaze. Could one ever truly grow weary of such an uplifting duty? Tail neatly curling around her paws as the final stragglers made their way to the ceremony, the grey-brown she-cat's whiskers trembled for a brief heartbeat. "Lilykit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to find your place among the Clan." Brindlewhisker began, voice carrying a sharp and determined undercurrent, "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lilypaw. Fernwing shall be your mentor and I am confident that she'll pass down everything she has learned."

Fernwing's ears perked at her name being mentioned, and her face brightened like the sun. She was going to mentor this adorable apprentice! How exciting! She trotted up to the newly-named Lilypaw and eagerly touched noses with her. "Hi, Lilypaw! I'm your new mentor, Fernwing! Oh, you and I are going to have so much fun together! I'm going to teach you everything I learned from my own mentor Lionstorm and I'm gonna make you into one of the best warriors WindClan has ever seen! But I'm also going to teach you how to care for the elders because that's super important, too. You're going to love being an apprentice, trust me!"

lilykit now lilypaw was a bit overwhelmed by the big amount of words her new mentor sad in a short amount of time but she could not agree more with what her mentor was saying she would teach here how to be the best warrior in the forest! she felt the tril of exitment when her nose touched the nose of here mentor. " I sure hope I live up to you expectations! when wil my first lesson begin?" she hoped she didn't seem rude to ask here that while the ceremony was stil being held but she just had to. She knew today was the first step on the path of a warrior and this cat in front of her was going to help here to get the best out of herself.
