Nectarleap had wanted to visit Shadefall that day. After Willowpaw's murder and Stormcloud's death, he had been nothing more than a hollow shell of himself. Visiting his daughter was his attempt to regain some sort of emotion. Padding into the nursery, the warrior was startled to see four kits at the queen's side. Arriving just in time to hear them get named, he stared at the four little kits. They were so cute. And they were his grandkits. A small smile spread across his maw. Maybe he had recently lost a lot, but this was something he had received, something to be happy about. As the last one was a named, he couldn't help but gasp. Heatherkit looked exactly like Heathershade. A small flame of hope burned in the sad warrior's chest, and his smile grew more genuine. "Th-they're perfect, Shadefall."

Shadefall looked up from her kits to see her father, Nectarleap. She smiled. She'd known that Nectarleap hadn't been himself since Willowpaw's death, and Shadefall herself felt that she was acting different too. "Thank you Nectarleap "She said with a warmness in her eyes.

Ivykit is Half-blind, she can see from her right eye, but barely. Ivykit mewed hungrily for Brookblaze, her mother. Ivykit, if she doesn't get something to eat soon, she will starve. Brookblaze is disappointed that Ivykit almost blind in both eyes, and so is Doveclaw, Ivykit's father.
