IC: Just before Blossomheart shrieked something about a badger, its scent hit his nose. Snapping his head around, his eyes landed on the big black creature, who had struck a heavy paw at Blossomheart.

Not wanting to waste any time in jumping into the battle, the small white tom let out a angry yowl. Rushing towards the beast, he reared up on his hind legs and slashed wildly at the badger's face before coming back down. Jumping away from its grasp, his long tail lashed back and forth and his small muzzle was bared, showing a mouth full of sharp teeth.

Tinylegs used Rear-Up to Slash, dealing 17 damage and costing 15 stamina.

Quietpaw's ears twitched as he heard the she-cat's warning, hopping backwards to duck out of its way.   "StarClan's sake, what is that thing?!" the light gray tomcat growled, baring his teeth nervously. He flung himself forward, striking a claw across the animal's muzzle, feeling hot blood drip on his paw.

Quietpaw uses Front Paw Strike, dealing 6 damage and costing 10 SP

IC: Blossomheart hissed. "It's a badger, Quietpaw!" She went limp before its paws, only to lash out. And as it attacked, she went limp and flying... but this time it wasn't purposefully.

Blossomheart used Play Dead, dealing 11 damage and using 15 stamina!
Badger used Heavy Blow, dealing 20 damage and using 20 stamina! Blossomheart us unable to fight.

IC: Panic rushing through the small tom at the thought of Quietpaw and Blossomheart getting severely hurt, he watched as the two of them attacked the badger. Waiting for an opening, he ran forward. Rearing up on his hind legs, he slashed wildly at the badger's face and let out a fierce yowl, and just as fast as it had arrived, the black and white beast was gone, leaving the cats with racing hearts and unsheathed claws.

Fur fluffed up and adrenaline pumping through his veins, Tinylegs ran over to Blossomheart, who was laying on the ground. "Blossomeheart! Are you alright?" the small tom mewed, looking over the she-cat for any dangerous wounds.

Tinylegs used Rear-Up to Slash, dealing 17 damage and costing 15 stamina.
The badger has been driven off.

Quietpaw was ready for a second attack, but he sheathed his claws when the badger ran off, his muscles relaxing only faintly as he remained attentive for the black and white animal to come back. He hoped he'd never see any one of those ever again. Shaking his bristling fur, the light gray apprentice watched Tinylegs and Blossomheart from a safe distance. He didn't want to see her wounds, the sticky blood covering matted fur. He didn't care for blood, but he felt no need to.

"Relax, Mintpaw's probably got some herbs. At least the badger left." he gave them a coldly delivered mix of facts and reassurance that came of as rather unpleasant.

Blossomheart slowly pulled herself up, head spinning. "I'll be fine... at least I didn't hit a tree." Blood dripped from her, and it made her sick. "I'll head back to camp." She staggered towards where she thought camp was, having to lean against a tree for a moment every once in a while.

Nodding in agreement at Quietpaw's comment, Tinylegs watched as Blossomheart attempted to get up. Joining her side as she wobbled, the little tom was just the right height to be support for her to lean on. "Yes, let's get back to camp," he mewed softly with a smile, trying to mask his worry for the she-cat.
