Morning patrol (open)

Sitting near the camp entrance, Tinylegs waited for some cat to join him with his long tail curled neatly around his tiny paws. A comforting, Newleaf breeze ruffled his fur as he sat in silence, enjoying his own company. The little white tom had gone on plenty of patrols recently and while he could've just sat around camp and rested, he'd decided to help out and lead an early morning patrol around the borders, seeing that it was a better time passer than just laying in his nest.

Blossomheart stood up and trotted over to the older warrior. "Are you leading a patrol?" She asked.

Quietpaw was picking apart a small bird near the fresh-kill pile after a sleepless night. Overhearing Blossomheart, the young tom got up from his spot, padding over to join the older warriors. "May I also lend a paw?" the light-gray cat mewed, appropriately quiet. He was itching to make himself useful.

Hearing pawsteps approach, Tinylegs stood up to see Blossomheart and Quietpaw. "Yes, I am," the little warrior mewed with a smile, giving a nod to the warrior. "Of course you can join us!" he added cheerfully, turning to the apprentice. Letting out a yawn and giving his stubby legs a stretch, Tinylegs turned towards the camp entrance. "Let's get going," the warrior mewed and began to pad out of the camp and into the lightly wooded forest.

The light gray tomcat dipped his head in agreement, wordlessly following the older warrior. After a while of padding through the quiet territory, his ears perked at the sound of prey, and he followed the scent, coming across a small bird, bouncing around in the grass, presumably looking itself for food. Jaw half-open, the slender apprentice dropped into a crouch, light on his paws. After a period of silence, he thrust himself forward at the critter, baring his teeth. In a flash, the bird fluttered away, batting its wings violently. Sighing, Quietpaw returned to the group, his head hanging low.

Blossomheart followed, scenting a squirrel not too far away. She stalked it, pinpointing its exact location before pouncing, landing squarely on its back.

Watching as the apprentices wandered away to do some hunting, Tinylegs kept a steady pace, knowing that they'd be able to catch up with him.

After a few moments, they arrived at their first destination, the ThunderClan border. "Let's stop here and mark the borders," he mewed to Quietpaw and Blossomheart. Sniffing the air, the small tom marked the border in a few spots and returned to the area where he'd left the other two.

Nodding his head, the white tom folowed the older warriors toward the border, marking the border himself, filed with a vague sense of duty. "Done." he chriped, bounding back to the meeting place.

OOC: uhm... "he mewed to Quietpaw and Blossompaw" It's Blossomheart... she's a Young Warrior with a mate and kits XD

IC: Blossomheart followed suit and returned to Tinylegs and Quietpaw. "Me too. Shall we go back to hunting prey?"

OOC: A H sorry! I wasn't thinking ><

IC: Glad that there wasn't any trouble and they'd been able to check the border in a timely fashion, Tinylegs gave the two a nod. "Yes, let's go back and do some hunting before heading back to camp," the little warrior mewed and began padding back towards the center of the territory.

Quietpaw turned on his pawtips, his tail waving in the air as they walked back to camp. His ears perked, he was careful for any little sound of scuffling prey, scenting the air for its smell. Finally, he picked up the warm scent of a squirell and, pulling back for more power, pounced towards it, missing it by much and tumbling on the ground. Ears burning in embarrassment, the tom returned to Tinylegs' side, tail trailing on the ground.

IC: Blossomheart had focused in on the mouse. She'd catch it this time. But, no, another scent overcame her senses. She glanced up to see... The fangs of a black and white creature. "Tinylegs! Quietpaw! There's a- a- Badger!" Its claws came fast and hard, but hers swiped back.

Badger used Heavy Blow on Blossomheart. -20 SP and -25 HP.
Blossomheart used Front Paw Strike on Badger. -10 SP and -9 HP.
