Shadepaw retraced her steps, picking up her prey. She bent over to pick up her squirrel, and later her hare. "How was your guys' catches?" she tried asking through a mouthful of fresh-kill. She saw that her father had caught a rabbit, and some herbs, She looked over to Willowpaw and that he'd caught a mouse. All of a sudden the scent of fox filled the air. She turned towards the scent and saw a fox. And a knocked out Willowpaw.

The sound that Nectarleap had been dreading since the day he adopted the four orphaned kits rang through the air. Dropping his grouse on the ground, he hurtled towards the sound, not seeing what was going on until he sprinted over a hill. A fox. Willowpaw's limp body lying motionless on the ground. Horror filled his amber eyes. Something in his paranoid mind screamed that his son had been killed by this vile beast. With a roar filled with the rage of parent protecting their kit, he dashed towards the red creature, not even considering that he could get hurt. Propelling himself onto his back legs, he swung his unsheathed claws wildly through the creature's side, blood and fur sticking to the inside of his claws. He didn't stop until he lost his balance, falling back to the ground. But he was so far from being done. With the speed only a WindClan cat could have, he dashed, delivering a deep a powerful blow to the fox's chest.

Nectarleap used Rear-up to Slash and Swift Strike, dealing 24 (17+7) damage and costing 25 (15+10) stamina.

Shadepaw ran over to her brother. "He' still breathing." She muttered to herself. Then as so as she turned around she saw Nectarleap charging at the fox. She then stared in horror as it shook him like it was trying to dry moss. Anger boiled inside of her, for her brother and her father. Shadepaw charged at full speed towards the fox, bowling it over. Surprised she was able to knock the fox over, she hesitated, but then went for another strike.

Shadepaw used whirlwind rush and swift strike, which together deal 9 damage and costs 25 stamina

Nectarleap had never felt this dazed before. The world was whirling around him as the fox shook him around, the back of his neck hurting like it was on fire. Worst of all, he couldn't fight back. But he had to! For Willowpaw, and to help Shadepaw. Getting out of the fox's grip, he arose to his paws, but too dizzy to fight yet.

The fox hissed as it was knocked over by a small but surprisingly strong cat. The other little one would pay for this! He snapped his jaws on the leg of the little cat and shook it violently.

Shadepaw flinched as she felt teeth grip her hind leg, probably drawing blood. She was shook violently and it wasn't long until her vision started going black and she started losing consciousnesses. She was flung off by the fox, her pelt getting muddy as her body skidded the ground.

No, this couldn't be happening. Now Nectarleap was alone, surrounded by the bodies of two of his kits. Most likely they were unconscious, but they could be dead. However dizzy he might have been, a new douse of rage refueled his energy and fighting skills. Yowling his anguish, the warrior shot towards the fox, springing high to land on its back. Oh, this creature would pay big time. Any creature stupid enough to hurt two apprentices while their father was present deserved to die. If he didn't feel the desire to kill this beast right then and there, he wouldn't be doing his job correctly. After having landed on the brute's back, he dug his hind legs into its side, holding himself down. Then with his front paws, his claws unsheathed and he raked them down its spine. That motion repeated over and over, raw fury and adrenaline allowing him to have enough stamina.

Nectarleap used Leap-and-Hold, dealing 14 damage and costing 10 stamina. Fox is pinned for 2 turns.

The fox struggled under the cat. The stupid cat didn't get off! He snarled at it in a language that only foxes understood, telling the cat exactly where it could go in very impolite terms.

Snarling and spitting with rage, Nectareap still didn't stop scraping his unsheathed claws down the fox's back. Fur and blood gathered under his claws, and he paused for less than a heartbeat to shake them out before continuing. The speed of his strike was almost unnatural, but any parent would be the same when seeing their kits in danger.
