Ripplekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Ripplekit scrambled out of the nursery. It was way too small and crowded for her liking. Her fur had been groomed, but it was kind of a waste of time, seeing as she already messed it up. She was all over the place, running hard and fast, skidding to a stop for the meeting, her eyes wide with excitement.

Crowstar looked down at the once well groomed Ripplekit. "The time has come to name another apprentice. Ripplekit please come forward. Thleader waited for the kit to come forward. Ripplekit from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Ripplepaw. Your mentor will be Blossomheart. The leader said before jumping down to end the ceremony.

Blossomheart heard her name. I have an apprentice? Already? Wow! This came as quite the surprise. "Ripplepaw! Ripplepaw!" She chanted, before stepping forward to touch noses with the new apprentice.

A grin crossed the newly named Ripplepaw's face as she bounced over to her new mentor. She touched noses, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Finally! She could leave this stuffy camp and go climb all the trees!
