Family Hunting [Closed]

Viperstorm sat at the camp enterance waiting on two specific warriors to join her. They needed to spend some time together, and what was better than doing some fishing, or hunting? The blue gray warrior waited patiently.

Minnowslip jumped out of the warrior's den, inhaling the frigid air with a renewed sense of determination. She planned on getting Tigerpaw a big fat fish to get him all plumped up and better!

”Viperstorm,” Splashwillow softly greeted, carefully picking her way through the snow as she padded towards the younger Warrior after Minnowslip, ”Going hunting, I presume?” With everything that had happened with Tigerpaw, the thought of some simple hunting seemed quite appealing. If she wasn’t of use in the Medicine Cat’s den, then she could at least find something to keep her busy.

Lakewhisper padded up to the gathering patrol right behind Splashwillow. "Care if I join?" He asked amicably. He wasn't expecting any objections to extra help, especially with Tigerpaw being as sick as he was. It was heartbreaking to see such a young cat so weak and sickly. He didn't know what he'd have done if he had been nest ridden as an apprentice. "Hunting sounds good to me." He said, even though Splashwillow's question wasn't aimed toward him.

Viperstorm nodded to the other two that had joined her after Minnowslip. "Of course." The warrior said. "Lets get going." She stood and with a flick of her tail lead the others out of camp towards the River.

Minnowslip barely contained an overjoyed meow when she saw that a section of the river was finally flowing again. Thank StarClan, she was getting really sick of eating spindly birds and bony mice. "Do you think we could catch a fish, or would they be hibernating too? No one ever told me when fish come back after a cold snap."

Lakewhisper smiled as they all headed off into their beautiful frost-filled territory. "Maybe we could try. I sure could eat a river full of fish right now." He meowed half-jokingly. He hadn't been eating as much as he would like, leaving the prey for the elders and queens with their kits. They needed it more than he did anyways, but oh how he missed fish. They were by far his favorite piece of prey, and he couldn't remember the last time he had eaten one. It felt like forever.
