A frosty hunt{closed}

FrostFeather yawned and walked up to the entrance. She wanted to make a hunting patrol and this was the easiest way. She did love her kits but sometimes she had to get away from the nursery. She sat down and waited for others to join.

Echopaw woke up quickly yet again from one of his dream, they would not stop! He walked out of then den and saw Frostfeather. "Heading out on a patrol?" he asked and smiled.

Rosepaw awoke early from her slumber. Her limbs still tinged with hurt and fatigue from the battle the night before, and Rosepaw couldn't help but feel guilty. She could've just left it at them meeting at the border, she shouldn't have called her names, and she sure as heck shouldn't have fought her. A headache had pained her for the past 2 days, her constant recollection of the events was doing bad things to her. Rosepaw shook her pelt as she stood up-- she didn't want to think about it anymore. In fact, she hated thinking about it, regret wasn't worth it. You can't change the past Rosepaw reminded herself as she exited the den, letting out a big sigh and stepping onto the cold, icy ground. A few cats assembled at the entrance and exit of the camp, her mind tried to figure out why and then she realized it was probably a patrol or something like that. Excitedly, she jogged to them and smiled, letting her mind wander away from the previous night. "Do you mind if I join you guys on your.. patrol.. or wherever you are going? if you are going on a patrol or something like that anyway," She chuckled slightly as she awaited confirmation.

Frostfeather licked echopaws cheek and nodded saying he could join. She then smiled as rosepaw came over. Seeing the young cat made her miss her shadow clan friend but she ignored it. "of course rosepaw we are going hunting." she said smiling.

Lionpaw yawned widely, his pink tongue rasping over his lips as his snowy-white teeth glinted in the pale dawn light as it filtered through the entrance to the apprentices den. The golden apprentice stretched languidly as his back arched upwards and he shook bits of moss from his yellow pelt, giving himself a quick wash before bounding out of the entrance to greet the morning sun.

He didn't have to look far for something to do as he saw his mother at the Camp entrance with Echopaw and Rosepaw, the large tom strolled over and mewed a greeting as he got close, "Good morning Mother," He smiled happily before turning his attention to the other apprentices, "Echopaw, Rosepaw." He greeted them warmly, "Room for one more on your hunt?" He asked hopefully, he'd come to realise he had a bit of a knack for hunting, and the young cat had to admit the appreciative purrs of the Elders and kits when he brought them back fresh-kill was a good enough reason to indulge his newfound skills.
