You can't be caught unaware [Open for TC to Join]

Flickerpaw was done. She let herself be carried by her scruff just because there was no use doing otherwise.

It was too much. It was too much, too soon and Featherpaw wanted to wail at Sharptooth to fix this. He lunged towards Flickerpaw to nuzzle her one last time. He wanted to curl up around her and protect her with all of his strength. Ivystar couldn't have Flickerpaw, she couldn't. Yet his sister was slowly being pulled away. He looked at Wisteriapaw, then Dappledpaw and Wildpaw. None of them was stopping this. Yes, Flickerpaw had made a mistake, a bad call in a fight, but they were warriors. It was a risk they took. His ears flattened as he tried to hold back his tears. Their grandmother, Flickerpaw... he yowled mournfully. Then slowly turned and walked back to the apprentice's den. His tail and paws dragged with every step as he dropped into the den. He was only an apprentice, he couldn't save them.

Dappledpaw sprinted forwards. ”Bo! You can’t have her! No... please. NO!” He wailed, lunging forwards to try and grab Flickerpaw from the jaws of these greedy fish-heads. They couldn’t have her! He didn’t want to hurt her, so he couldn’t really pull her away. What could he do? He yowled in fear and anger and grief. Specklefang was gone. Flickerpaw was going. And there was nothing he could do about it.
