A Hunting we shall go! (Open)

Featherpaw sat quietly by the camp entrance. His green eyes watched his clanmates curiously as they milled about their usual daily routines. His stomach grumbled, but a hollow space in the ground told him that there was no food to be found in camp at least. He glanced towards the opening in the camp walls. He didn't want to go hunting alone, his tail twitched at the thought. He didn't want to risk running into a predator or enemy cats, especially with all of the threat of Riverclan looming on the horizon. He shook his head to clear out the thoughts.

Birdflight walked up to Featherpaw after spotting him from the Warrior's den. She gave him a gentle smile. "Hello Featherpaw! Are you wanting to go on a hunting patrol? I'm willing to take you!" she offered. The warrior stood, waiting for his response.

Featherpaw smiled brightly at Birdflight. He leapt to his paws and padded over to her.
"I'd love that Birdflight! I really want to get some hunting practice." He answered pleasantly, "It looks like the clan needs it too." He added, though his joyful tone didn't drop. He couldn't wait to show how his skills had grown since he had been a tumbling kit out of the nursery. Now, he was larger and almost ready to be a warrior himself. The thought made his chest swell with pride. He and his siblings would all be warriors, and all of them could defend Thunderclan together. It was an exciting prospect. One that left him overjoyed. "Let's get going! I'm sure anyone who wants to come will join us later."
