Jail of Jewel [Closed]

Lionspark sighed heavily through her nostrils as she stared at the half-eaten fish before her. Her stomach rumbled in slight discontentment but there was little she could do about it - it wasn’t happy when she ate the fish but the slight pain of hunger in her wasn’t helping either. She raised her head, giving it a shake as she took another bite of the fish and scarfed it down with a slight wince. But she had to admit that despite how her stomach felt on it...The fish was rather good. It was slimy like she had always imagined but it certainly wasn’t as terrible as she expected. There was a good chance that she could get use to it in her time as a hostage.

It...Felt odd being a hostage. She wanted to be angry about it but in fact...No, she was rather relieved by it all. She was being treated well; given food, sheltered from the worst of the weathered...No, she didn’t mind this at all. She felt guilty by it all, how relieved she was to be doing nothing but it was giving her time to think. Most of the thoughts weren’t pleasant, finding herself scolding herself for how weak she had been to panic like she was and be captured but yet she found herself thinking about her relationship with her Clanmates.

There was a pain of sadness that she was alone - Honeyspark had been set free. The full moon had past and the Gathering had been held. There were two cats standing guard outside - a brown pelted she-cat she had learned was name Amberpelt and...She wasn’t completely sure who the other cat was. Amberpelt at least seemed kind. A bit selfish but still treated Lionspark with some respect even if it was clear that the proud she-cat looked down on the other Clans. She took another bite of the fish, swallowing it as she grimaced at the aftertaste.

She blinked, her ears twitching as she looked up toward the entrance of the cavern she was in at the sound of splashing water. She had been surprised to learn of its existence - not that she ever had been to the gorge before. It wasn’t an easy spot to get into, surrounded by water that it had taken a few RiverClan cats to carry her into the cavern hidden behind the waterfall. Sure the water was calmer than normal due to the frigid weather but she had little doubts that her Clanmates would be able to save her if they tried - not that she wanted them to anyways. She wasn’t really worth the effort… She gave her head a shake, once again focusing on the approaching sound of seemingly another cat.

Viperstorm was the cat to step in, water clung to her fur from the falls, and crossing the water itself to get inside. The gray blue she-cat wasn't really bothered by it at all. A vole hung in her jaws as she moved over to Lionspark. She didn't like Thunderclan, she didn't like any of the other clans, but they couldn't let this cat die on them. Thunderclan wouldn't let them see the end of it if that happened. And honestly she would rather deal with a prisoner than to deal with that mess back at camp, what happened a couple days before the gathering.

The warrior set down the vole in front of Lionspark before sitting down herself, with a small huff. "I figured you might want this instead of fish." The new warriors said, her tone a bit cold because she didn't like other clans, but maybe she would warm up to this she-cat.

Following closely behind Viperstorm, Splashwillow found herself tagging along with kin as they both carefully made the trek towards the Gorge, where the ThunderClan prisoner was currently being held. Several icy droplets of water smoothly rolled down from her glossy fur as she slipped into the cavern after giving Amberpelt a friendly mew of greeting, though she still gave herself a quick shake for good measures before padding up to the pair of she-cats. Pressing up against Viperstorm with a soft chirp, the calico watched as her younger kin gave the ThunderClanner a piece of prey that was likely more suitable to her taste.

The Queen, although carefully making sure to keep a comfortable distance between the pair, leaned forwards ever-so-slightly to give Lionspark an inquisitive sniff. Her bright gaze gently traced the slowly healing wounds that still marred the golden tabby's pelt, relieved to see that none of them looked particularly worrisome. It wouldn't do them any good if they accidentally killed their only remaining hostage due to neglect. "Are your wounds bothering you?" Splashwillow questioned, making sure to keep her tone polite as she spoke.

Amberpelt gave Viperstorm and Splashwillow an odd glance as they padded past her, her eyes lingering the most on Viperstorm as the she-cat had been getting rather noticeably close with her son. She didn't mind it of course - in fact she thought the two looked rather cute together if that was where things were heading but she had a feeling that both of them didn't know what they were getting into...Her gaze continued to track them as they both stopped near the prisoner, Viperstorm giving her a vole and Splashwillow checking on her wounds. The warrior wanted to roll her eyes at them caring so much for the hostage but...Truth be told, it warmed her motherly heart. She had been on guard duty enough to get an idea of Lionspark's mental health. While she hadn't said anything - it wasn't really her place and she wasn't all that good with...Emotions like that, she hoped that they could be of help to the half-blind she-cat.


Lionspark blinked as a young she-cat came padding from the entrance, a vole in her jaws. Her ears twitched as the prey was dropped at her paws, her head reeling back in pure surprise at the offering of a different type of meal. Right...RiverClan didn't eat just fish, did they? She was pretty sure they only thing they didn't like was birds - which was a shame since doves were her favorite but...She could learn how to make do. "Oh, thank you," she said in a soft voice, confusion filtering in her words as she was left with little idea of what to say. She...Certainly wasn't expecting something like this - the fact that RiverClan was being so kind was painting them in a whole different light then she had been expecting but to give her another piece of prey because they had realized that fish wasn't her type? Well, she wasn't sure what to make of that.

Her gaze shifted from the vole as another she-cat spoke up, raising her attention to the older she-cat - a queen by the looks of it. There was another confused blink at the question that was asked, her ears flickering back as she turned her attention to the wounds across her side. "W-What? Oh no, they aren't bothering me at all. I-I've had worst after all," she admitted sheepishly, before turning her gaze away from them to hide the scars that ran across the right side of her face. She paused as she looked down at the fish, then back at the vole as she cleared her voice. "Y-You two wouldn't happen to want what is left of my fish, would you? I-I'm not planning to eat what is left now that I have this vole..." she paused before she shifted. "Uh, thank you again for the vole," she added quickly with a nervous look across her face as she tried to figure out why they were being so kind toward her. She was their prisoner after all.

Viperstorm looked down at the half eaten Fish. She wanted to eat it, but didn't feel it right now. She would probably eat something later. The warrior looked over to the Queen. "You probably need it more than me, I will get something later." The new warrior offered.

The gray blue warrior looked over to the Thunderclan warrior. "How are you doing, Lionspark?" The warrior asked in a bit of a monotone, before laying down herself. Sitting with this warrior was better than the drama back at camp, thought she didn't really know what to talked about. Hopefully her kin would be better with words than she was.

It was a nice day for a walk, but that wasn't the only reason Snowblossom was out- she was also looking for her mother. Splashwillow had gone with Viperstorm to check up on the ThunderClan she-cat they were keeping. What was her name... Lionheart? No, Lionspark. To be honest, she felt a little guilty that they had the warrior as a prisoner, but she trusted that Ivystar had the Clan's best interests at heart. Hopefully, the golden she-cat wasn't being mistreated. As much as the leader preached about the evils of ThunderClan, Lionspark and the medicine cat had seemed quite nice, but now that Honeyspark was back at the other camp, the other she-cat was probably lonely. Snowblossom figured she could use some company. As she walked by, she spotted a few tiny white flowers sticking out of a clump of snow. Strange... she didn't know flowers grew in leaf-bare? The she-cat grabbed a few of the blossoms, thinking maybe Splashwillow or the ThunderClanner would know what they were. And suddenly there she was, at the entrance. The fluffy white warrior nodded to Amberpelt as she walked into the cavern, then shook off droplets of water as she ducked through the waterfall. With a nod for Viperstorm and a smile for her mother, she sat down near the entrance, suddenly feeling awkward. Lionspark looked uncomfortable. Maybe she could help? Snowblossom put the flowers she carried down on the ground. "Hey, mom, I thought I'd come see you. Hey, Viperstorm, Lionspark. I found these while I was walking... Leaf-bare flowers, isn't that strange? Do you know what they're called?"
