Snowblossom let out a yelp of surprise as the young she-cat leapt onto her back, digging claws into her soft flesh. Though she had known that a battle would get her hurt, she hadn't been quite prepared for the pain, despite its inevitability. However, she bit her lip to keep any more cries from coming out. She had to be strong, for her Clan. With the ThunderClan cat on her back, she couldn't move around, and she couldn't get her off. "I don't- want- to fight-" the newly appointed warrior managed to gasp out, struggling against the enemy cat's tight grip. "But- you're attacking- our t-territory!" Why was she justifying herself to this cat? She didn't know, but it didn't really matter. She just wanted to make it out alive and unscathed along with Lakewhisper and her family...

Snowblossom is stunned for one more turn.

Cloudstone snarled at the ThunderClan medicine cat, fixing her with a single eye of burning coal. "I decide whether my apprentice is safe, not some kit who's never lived through a single Leafbare!" The black tom thrashed underneath Honeyspark's grip, furious.

Maplepaw growled. "Why did you attack me then? I'm Thunderclan's medicine cat apprentice. Starclan will never forgive you for this!" she hissed bitterly. The she-cat began to attempt to topple over the young warrior. She miraculously did it and soon proceeded to rake her belly.

Snowblossom held in the cry of pain she wanted to give and instead exerted all her energies in trying to escape from the she-cat's hold. Medicine cat apprentice? Oh, no... Well, despite her position, the she-cat had been fighting her back, so it must be all right. She couldn't stop now, or Ivystar would never forgive her! She had to defend her territory! "I thought- medicine cats- weren't supposed- to fight? It's- not my fault- you're here- and attacking us! We- need prey- as much- as you!" With a gasp of effort, the warrior finally managed to get out of the enemy she-cat's grasp, using her position to claw her soft, unprotected belly before standing up again, ready for another attack although she felt sick inside.

The apprentice was about to give chase when another weight pressed down on his back, forcing him into the ground. He trashed silently beneath her, teeth curled in a mute snarl.
