Another Reason To Live (CLOSED for Silverfang's family)

Silverfang was about to scold Raccoonkit for interrupting her lesson until his sister attacked him playfully. The fierce she-cat smiled proudly. They were fighters, just like her. One day, they would defend their clan well. The she-cat licked Spotkit head, noticing that he was the quietest one. "Come on, Spotkit. You can join your siblings and play fight. That would help you to become the best warrior you can be, don't you think?" She purred lovingly before turning her gaze to the other kits, Frostkit, Reedkit, Raccoonkit and Brightkit.

"I will fetch something to eat so you can enjoy your first taste of prey. Don't make too much trouble, okay?" The silvery she-cat approached the fresh-kill pile, leaving her kits playing in the white snow. Her blue and yellow eyes searched for a good and large fish. She picked up two of them that were perfect for the five energetic kittens.

Brightkit grinned and nodded to his mother. He then turned his blue and amber gaze to Spotkit. "Come on, let's play!" he said with a laugh, crouching down low. Flicking his tail, the grey tabby tom sprang forwards with his powerful hind legs, mouth stretched wide in a grin as he collided with Spotkit. Brightkit laughed and pinned him down, pretending to be a great warrior. "Haha! I got you!" he laughed, blinking down at his brother. Brightkit looked over to Reedkit. "Come on, join in! You aren't scared, are you?" he teased, flicking his tail. He gave a half-smile at his siblings, his way of showing victory. The ambitious tom knew he would be the best warrior that RiverClan had ever seen!

Spotkit jumped up out of the snow. "You wanna do it like that? Let's play." He leaped towards Brightkit and cuffed his head, then whipping around and running into Raccoonkit and Frostkit. Silverfang was right, play-fighting was good practice, but it was nothing like the real thing.

Frostkit lost her footing as Spotkit bumped into her and Raccoonkit. She flopped down onto the cold snow, meowing in surprise, annoyed at her sibling for unbalancing her. The silver-and-white youngster lay in the snow and tried to bat Spotkit away by kicking her back paws at him. "You knocked me over, silly furball," she whined.

Spotkit backed away from the flying paws. "[color:7bb5=006633]Of course I know that, furball! That was my intention!"

Brightkit's oddly coloured eyes widened a little when his brother swung at him. He backed away swiftly, ducking the flying paws. Brightkit smirked, flicking his tail, as he sat back to watch Frostkit and Spotkit. Really, he was certain now he would be the best warrior in all the land. It sounded silly when he put it like that, but it was true! Satisfied and victorious, he flicked an ear in soft amusement as he watched.

Spotkit glanced back at Brightkit, who was looking awfully smug. With no warning, he leaped towards Brightkit, paws outstretched in an attempt to pin Brightkit down.
