Fishing Time [open hunting patrol]

Swanpaw sat near the camp's entrance, waiting for a few others to join her. After all, more prey never hurt, right?

Snailbelly, hungry as always, walked over to Swanpaw and sat down with her. He could tell this would be a hunting patrol... his stomach told him so.

Stonepaw eyed clanmates Swanpaw and Snailbelly sitting near the camp's entrance. The young tom padded up to the duo and inquired, "Going hunting?" It was an apprentice's solemn duty to help provide for his Clan by bringing back prey for those who couldn't hunt for themselves, like Elders, Queens, and kits. Leaf-bare was traditionally the season of limited prey for the forest cats, but RiverClan benefited from catching plenty of fish all year round from the churning waters that surrounded the camp and flowed through their territory. His paws itched to grab hold of a scaly, juicy fish, and his mouth watered just imagining the taste.
