Coincidence, or love? (Closed for Middy)

He was startled when Emberpaw dropped a plump rabbit by his paw. He looked up. "F-For me?" He asked her suprised. "How did you know rabbit was my favorite?" He asked the she-cat. "We can share...i-if you want to." He looked down shyly.

Emberpaw was thoroughly pleased when she heard that she had caught the right type of prey. Whew! That was just by convenience and luck that I caught his favorite!She thought with relief. Swiftpaw's next statement brought her back to their conversation,"I would love to share, thank you your so kind." She was reasonable grateful that Swiftpaw had offered because she was getting hungry herself. "Rabbit may not be as good as frog, but at least its food." She teased him. She gobbled down a hunk of it, not realizing that they may have broken a rule.

"Wait, stop eating. The warrior code says that we can't have food until everyone else has! Did I give food to the elders today?" She suddenly sat up, looking thoroughly flustered and ashamed. In her hysteria she had genuinely forgotten all the day's activities.

He stopped and realized what she said. "Ummm..." He was thinking if they had fed the elders. "I-I don't think we did..." he said shamefully. "Should we go hunt some and bring it back to camp?" He asked her.

"We probably should." She said, hurrying off to find something. She had caught a lizard by the time she came back to the tree stump to meet with Swiftpaw before bringing their kills to camp.
