Ferretkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Ferretkit perked up at the sound of their leader's voice, glancing out of the nursery to see the group of cats forming. However, he quickly remembered that this was his day! He perked up, and stood at the opening, watching out as he waited eagerly to hear his name called. He could begin his training to become a warrior soon, and some day in the future, he'd be big and strong like the other warriors  he often saw!

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Ferretkit, please, step forward”.

Blue eyes lighting up, without even looking back the kit eagerly padded forward to approach their leader, gazing up at him. He wanted to speak, but had no idea what he would even say to them. He felt his heart racing eagerly in his chest, eyes not moving from their focus on the large leader.

Blizzardstar smiled at the kit's excitement before talking again “Ferretkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Ferretpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Cinderfrost. I hope she passes down all she knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Cinderfrost blinked looking to the leader before her new apprentice. A small smile coming to her maw before she stepped forward touching noses with the eager new apprentice.

Ferretpaw stood proudly as his new status was announced, as well as his mentor who stepped up. Finally looking away from his leader, he looked over at Cinderfrost with an eager smile, touching noses with her when she approached.
