Flowerkits apprentice ceremony

Spottedfeather nervously kneed her paws into the dirt. Dewstar was sick and couldn't tend to her leader duties, so she was in charge of it. Including the apprentice ceremony. She was nervous, what if she messed up? Or chose the wrong mentor for the kit? Nothing could go that wrong right? She pondered which warriors she had to choose between to give the apprentice to. She padded up to the Highrock, before leaping her way up. She looked down, using the leaders call "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" her call rang throughout camp. She was satisfied that it was loud enough for the cats to hear, so she patiently waited for the lucky kit to come.

Flowerkit padded out of the nursery, interested. It's probably my apprentice ceremony! Bouncing up, she ran closer to the Highrock.

ic: Tigertooth walked out of the warrior den, a joyful look brightening his mood as he walked forward and purposefully sat next to Flowerkit. Spottedfeather and Tigertooth talked about the apprenticeship a day ago, and he'd been excited ever since. My own apprentice... he thought with a quiet purr of satisfaction.

IC: "Flowerkit, please step forward" Spottedfeather mewed, looking at the excited kit. 'Time to give Tigertooth his first apprentice.'

Flowerkit glanced impatiently at the Highrock. Come on, hurry up, what're we waiting for?

"You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Flowerkit, from this day on until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Flowerpaw." she paused looking to Tigertooth and then looking back. "Flowerpaw, your mentor will be Tigertooth, I trust he will pass on his loyalty and strength to you." she turned back to Tigertooth. "Tigertooth, you are young, but ready to take on an apprentice. I trust that you will teach Flowerpaw well." she mewed, jumping down from the Highrock and letting the apprentice and mentor touch noses.

Flowerpaw reached up to touch noses with Tigertooth. "I'm so glad I'm an apprentice!"

Tigertooth gave Flower, his first apprentice, a smile. "You'll be a fine warrior with that attitude," he purred.
