Chaos (Part 2) [OPEN PLOT]

The flame-colored apprentice was with his brother when the chaos started. The young apprentice watched surprised how four dogs entered the camp, attacking and hurting his clanmates. Firepaw couldn't just wait and stay eating doing nothing to help so he stood up with his brother, ready to gave the dogs a lesson. However, he didn't follow Gingerpaw. Instead, te apprentice focused in the golden dappled cat that wasn't trained to fight like the warriors and apprentices: Honeydrop. Firepaw hissed before running toward the dog and tackled it with his whole body to keep him away from the medicine cat and the nursery. He felt that it was his duty to protect the most vulnerable cats in the clans and the tom could be able to risk his life for the safety of his clanmates. After all, that was what a good warrior would do.

The dog lifted his lip. He was bored.
He quickly withdrew from the hole he had made- he would come back to that later -and ran back to the heart of the battle.
He saw a cat standing completely still (Lizardpaw) and grinned. Too easy.
The big black dog scooped it up in his jaws, shaking it back and forth savagely before flinging it away. He felt a wild swoop of excitement as he saw dark red flecks fly through the air.

Cobrapaw eyes widened slightly the runt of an apprentices eyes widened in fear of the dogs as he saw them. He saw Lizardpaw and his eyes widened his thin short fur bristling in alarm. He had little to know battle training yet and was quite literally terrified. One about how they even got into camp and two what was he going to do.

Sootpaw saw Olivepaw and Ashpaw chase over to a dog and he leaped after them. Seeing the apprentices start to take on the dog, he knew that the mutt would immediately turn on them. Quickly thinking, he ran at the dog, attempting to distract it.

Sootpaw used Run and Tackle, dealing 6+3, 9 damage and costing 10 stamina.


Nightpaw saw her brother bolt away and followed him. While they maintained a competitive relationship, she wasn't going to let him do anything stupid. She saw him and the other two apprentices fighting off the dog, and followed Olivepaw's lead, diving under the dog and scratching it fiercely.

Nightpaw used Belly Rake, dealing 7 damage and costing 10 stamina.

The dog clumsily thrashed his claws around the thorn bush, barking and snapping at its gaping entrance. He furiously clawed at the bush, only to whine from its pricks. Suddenly, a flash of golden fur penetrated their claws deep into the dog's side. The smell of his own blood pierced his nose as not one, but two other cats joined in on him to protect their beloved kits. The sounds of frightened yowls and thunder fuelled adrenaline in his veins as the dog turned towards the weakest cat, snarling and snapping his fearsome jaws at the hissing fire-pelted cat. The dog spun around on his hindquarters, meeting eyes with the cat before lunging in to the cat's hind leg, pulling and thrashing the cat in his jaws before clawing the cat's ear and throwing him to the ground. Glaring at the two remaining cats with great hostility, the thunder crackled as he prepared for the next move. Now they will see how dangerous I can be!

Badgerpaw looked in horror as the camp exploded into a frenzy, the smell of blood filling the air and the sounds of battle cries lifting ShadowClan's pride. He stood there in the clearing, watching the dogs destroy the camp and push warriors and apprentices out of the way. He fathomed his mistake as the tom snapped back into reality and charged towards the elders' den, hoping to guard the entrance after seeing the dog approach the nursery. He trusted that three cats would be enough to handle the brute as he stood his guard at the elders' den, watching with claws unsheathed and hackles raised. He was no warrior, but Badgerpaw pledged to defend ShadowClan with all his might. The thunder continued to roar, lighting up the fearsome faces of the dogs as they snapped their jaws at the smaller cats around them. He hoped that they weren't going to lose anyone to their rage. He didn't want to blame himself for the death of a Clanmate.

The black dog rounded on yet another reddish cat, his pale yellow eyes shining as he approached it with a sickening grin. Drool mixed with blood and fur that hung in slippery ropes from his jaws. The dog's shaggy long fur was matted with blood- blood that was not his own.
He snarled softly, bearing down on the smaller cat. He wouldn't strike, not yet. It was more fun with a struggle.

Adrenaline raced through Honeydrop's veins, reminding her of two times previous when she had almost been faced with death. As she faced the large, terrifying dog, her vision flashed back into memories and she saw Wolffang towering over her, claws heading for her throat. Then the she-cat changed into Bear, the brown rogue who had almost killed her and tried to kill Flamestrike. But the medicine cat couldn't afford to slip back into her past now. No, she needed to stay focused. For the sake of the Clan. As the golden dappled she-cat held on to the dog's back for dear life, shaky claws finding a grip in its coarse fur, she was joined by two other cats. First Silentstorm ran up to help her, battering at the enormous beast with his hind legs. Then brave, foolish Firepaw ran up, leaping onto the dog and tackling it, thus throwing her off its back. Her son had come to help protect her. An overwhelming gratitude filled her until she remembered that he didn't know that Littlebrook was not his mother. And now her son was in danger. He had some battle experience, but not enough to take on a dog! A involuntary screech tore itself from the medicine cat's throat as the dog mauled the apprentice and threw him to the ground, covered in blood, one ear in shreds. No! He couldn't be hurt! Her precious kit... instead of running towards him as she wished to do, the she-cat barely managed to restrain herself. Silentstorm couldn't fight the dog alone. She had to protect the kits! Though every instinct inside her screamed for her to go help her son, she knew that the wounds he had suffered were not mortal. She couldn't help him now. Pain shone in her eyes, but she turned back to face the brute that was attacking for the nursery. The monster that had hurt her son. Honeydrop saw red. "You will pay for that!" the golden dappled medicine cat yowled in fury, sliding under the massive dog and slicing at its softer belly fur, not knowing what she was doing, only wanting to cause it pain, and drive it away from the vulnerable kits and queens in the nursery.

Everything happened so fast. One moment, Gingerpaw was standing next to Rowanpaw, ready to fight for his life. The next moment, the dog flung his friend to the side with one massive swipe of his paw, spattering blood from the other tom's flank on the tabby apprentice's face. While he still sat stunned, gazing in horror at his defeated Clanmate, a calico she-cat that he knew very well launched herself onto the massive dog in the same instant. Littlebrook, his mother. No! He couldn't let his mother get in danger over him! His mother's screech as the dog ripped off a piece of her beautiful fur was the worst thing that Gingerpaw had ever heard. His claws unsheathed instinctively at the sight of his mother, bloodied, still standing ready to fight the monster. But at the same time, he saw something equally horrible in his peripheral vision. His brother, Firepaw, collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely, his left ear in shreds. In that moment, the ShadowClan apprentice was torn. Should he help his brother, wounded and prone, or help his mother fight off the dog that had also taken out Rowanpaw? Though his muscles were taut, and he wished with every fiber of his body that he could help all of his family, he had to make the most logical decision. There was nothing he could do to help his brother. He had no knowledge of herbs, no way to heal the mottled orange tom. What he could do was help his mother. She was bleeding and hurt. She needed him! With a ferocious yowl that reminded him of his pride in ShadowClan, and his love for his family, Gingerpaw ran to tackle the dog who had hurt Littlebrook. "I'm coming, Mom!"

The black dog whipped around and saw the ginger pelted cat race towards her. Before the dog could react, he cat made a hard impact into the side of the dog. The dog snarled in anger and shook out her pelt and blinked away the blurred edges of her eyes. Snapping at the cat, she mat contact with the cat's tail and flung it a few tail-lengths away.
  As soon as the cat was away from the dog, she started snapping and clawing at the brown she-cat that had been sitting there a little confused. Barking, the dog snapped close to her other ear but never made contact. No matter how hard the dog tried, she couldn't catch the cat. The dog stopped snarling and just bared her teeth after a few more exhausting moments. The dog started panting until a sharp cat's yowl was heard just beyond the camp wall......

  Duskpaw, now a rouge, was sneaking through Shadowclan territory to try to find his siblings when he heard it. Deep barks mingled with the sharper pitched cat yowls. Duskpaw stopped dead in his tracks. He knew fairly well from recent encounters what this was. Shadowclan is being attacked by dog's! Instead of prowling through the pine trees with lots of caution, he now was running as fast as he could to the camp.
  Soon he reached the camp wall he let out the loudest battle yowl he had ever heard. He then burst through the camp entrance and leaped onto the nearest dog. It was a smaller black, short furred dog which was attacking Littlebrook. He was tired but pure rage powered him once he saw the bodies of stunned apprentices here and there.
  "You will pay the cost of attacking Shadowclan you filthy flea-bags!" He yowled as he leaped at the dog and tricked it while sliding under its belly and raking it with sharp claws. Soon blood started oozing out of the wounds. Duskpaw quickly dashed out to Littlebrook's side. He bushed up his tail and started hissing at the dog and slashing out with outstretched claws whenever it came to snap at him.

Ooc: yo leaffeather, Dusk's stats are wrong. He should have no higher than kit stats (5/15 i think). Cats who leave clans/get exiled are permanently stuck with the stats they had when they left. Since Dusk chose to leave after he was demoted down to kit, those will be his stats. So please change it to the correct damage and stats.

OOC: This battle has become a mess so its time to step in and make some things clear.

First things first, we need to make it clear who is RPing what dog and who is fighting who. So, I will be assigning numbers to the dogs that must be added to your battle information.

Caitywolfy is Dog 1
Leaffeather is Dog 2
Reindeer Drippy is Dog 3
And Harlem is Dog 4

As for keeping track of who is fighting who, as the scribe of WCC I have taken it upon myself to make a list of everybody's health and damage along with what cat is fighting what dog and so forth. The list of it can be found Here.

In other news, when I was creating this list I became aware of something. Each dog has been attacked but Reindeer failed to realize that their dog - Dog 3 - had been attacked by Curlypaw early into the fight and stuck out against Lizardpaw instead, knocking them out. Because of this, I am reconning that part. Lizardpaw is still standing and Dog 3 is currently in combat with Curlypaw. As well, Corbapaw was not cornered by the dog and thus still has a choice of picking who they want to fight.

I will be watching over this battle for now in order to try to keep this going as smoothly as it can be.

IC: Everything had just happened so quickly. Larksong and Smokestripe had been chatting over some prey, having decided to taken some time to share tongues together before heading off to do their separate duties. They were about to split and go their own ways when everything happened. Larksong was the first to notice Badgerpaw stumbling into the camp, a look of horror plastered onto his face. Within moments she was on her paws, taking in a worried breath to question what was going on when they charged in. Four giant forms ripping through the entrance of the camp, bloodlust in their eyes...Dogs. Larksong had seen a pawful of them when she had been a kittypet and knew how dangerous they could be.

She was rooted in place as battle suddenly unfurled around her, her Clanmates rushing into combat in defense of the camp but yet the warrior found herself unable to move. Terror flash in her eyes as she spotted some apprentices fall to the jaws of the mad beasts that had descended onto the camp. She had been in her fair share of battles before with wild animals - the scars on her side was proof of that but she had only fought a single badger both time with the aid of her Clanmates at her back. But this...This wasn't the same. The Clan was divided, their focus spread across the four dogs.

"R-Ravenclaw? Y-Yewpaw?" She was broken out of her terrified trace as she came to realize that Smokestripe was still next to her despite it all, fear flashing in his eyes as he pressed himself next to her. She could feel the shaking in his pelt, his struggle to catch his breath as his gaze scanned the chaotic camp as he searched and called for any sight of his mate and kit - she wasn't even sure how long he had been calling their name in her stupor. Larksong was quick to press herself against him as she touched a gentle muzzle to his ear, feeling it flicker under the light touch. He had already lost one of his kits to the unknown, she couldn't blame him for being terrified but...

"Come on, Smokestripe, we need to lend aid," she whispered softly in his ear, getting his attention. His terrified gaze snapped onto her, his chest expanding like he was taking a deep breath to snap back at her but it died in his throat. For a few heartbeats, there was no words shared between the two friends until he finally nodded. "Together," Larksong said as she turned, her gaze landing on a dog that had been attacked by a single apprentice. They needed help - a lone apprentice couldn't take on that beast. With a yowl, she broke into a dart across the camp and threw herself at the dog.

She launched herself onto its back, feeling its think skin beneath her as she dug her claws into hold on. A hiss escaped her as she tore at the dog's flesh, her gaze flickering to the side to see Smokestripe ramming into the dog at full speed. His claws danced across it as he slashed with all of his strength, a terror in his eyes but mixed with a determination she was surprised to see. Smokestripe was terrified on the inside - she couldn't blame him but yet here he was, doing all that he could to protect his Clan. If that wasn't bravery, she didn't know what was.

Larksong uses Leap-and-Hold on Dog 3, dealing 11 damage and costing 10 stamina. Dog 3 is stunned for 1 turn.

Smokestripe uses Run-and-Tackle on Dog 3, dealing 14 damage (11 reg, +3 for opponent not being focused on them) and costing 10 stamina.

When Redpaw saw the dogs, fear struck him. He had never seen such creatures and the sight of it was terrifying. It was only when others jumped in to attack did he join in, almost reluctantly, but he had to protect his clan mates.

After being dazed, watching the entire fight go on around him, Lizardpaw sprung into action against the dogs. He saw Larksong, Smokestripe, and Curlypaw all attacking one dog and decided to join them. He would help defend his Clan, or he would die a coward, and he did not want to die and be viewed as a coward by his father. That was a fate worse than being lost in the Place of No Stars! He charged at the disgusting mongrel attacking his Clanmates.

Lizardpaw used run-and-tackle on Dog 3, dealing 9 damage (6 base +3 for being not focused on Lizardpaw) and using 10 stamina.
