Obviously, It was Not Real (Part 2 of WC Plot)

It had been half a moon since Willowstream had received the sign from Starclan, and still nothing had happened. Warriors and apprentices had taken turns patrolling the territory, but no sign or trace of fox appeared. The medicine cat began to feel antsy. Had she been wrong to think it was imminent? What if it wasn't true, and her exhaustion caused her to hallucinate? The moonlight could have been playing tricks on her eyes.

The tortoiseshell she-cat sat crouched outside her den, eyes wide and unfocused as she considered all of these possibilities.



OoC: This topic is simply discussing what Starclan was trying to say, and possibly for an argument to break out over whether they should believe in Starclan anymore or not.

Ravenfeather sat in her shade, her eyes on the medicine cat. As she watched her, it was as if you could see the thoughts racing through her head. Where is your guide now, Willowstream?

Stormeye paced back and forth at the entrance of the camp, his ears flicking with annoyance. If StarClan sent them that sigh half a moon ago, shouldn't the foxes be here by now? He shook his head, letting out a small growl. What if StarClan had be wrong...or perhaps Willowstream was...? No, Willowstream knew what she saw, and StarClan must of sent it. He glanced up at the sky, a growl rumbling in his throat. He could almost hear his father laughing in his head, gloating about how StarClan was wrong. Trust me, son. StarClan did send that sign, and they were wrong! No foxes on the territory. You've scented it yourself. StarClan sent you a sign that means nothing! Making you worry your tail off about something that will never come! The voice echoed in Stormeye's head, making him wonder one thing. Was StarClan wrong?

Foxpaw trotted by Willowstream's den and nodded a greeting. "Hello, Willowstream." She sat on a rock, thoughts flowing through her head. Not a single fox since Willowstream's so called sign. What will WindClan do?

Stormeye stopped his pacing as he placed his paw to his head, letting out a small little growl. He just wished his father would get out of his head. His eyes flickered to Foxpaw as he placed his paw back on the ground, putting his father's laugh at the back of his mind. "Willowstream has been out of it, Foxpaw. I would leave her alone. I think the 'prophecy' not coming true is getting to her, as it is to all of us. I think it is way worst for her thought, as she was the one that got it. She hasn't said much lately...."

"... Okay," Foxpaw nodded. "I understand."

butterflystar padded out of her den, she had not slept much since willowstream's prophecy. Maybe it was an mis-understanding, no willowtream would not mess it up like that she thought to herself and laid down in the shade.

"Maybe Starclan meant it for another." Bluepaw muttered.

"Or maybe the 'sign' was just a lie." Ravenfeather growled, padding over to them.

"Hi!" Foxpaw purred, padding up to Bluepaw. "So... Whaddya think of Willowstream's so called sign?"

" It was not real." Shiningheart growled." Starclan cloud have lied!" She added,Her tail slicking angerly.

Stormeye turned to Shiningheart, his icy blue eyes cold. "And what would they get from lying? They are there to lead us, not mislead us. Perhaps it will come true? Maybe StarClan wasn't trying to tell us that foxes were going to attack but maybe something else? StarClan. Doesn't. Lie," he growled.

"Maybe it was to prepare us for the future." Ravenfeather said gently, padding over to stand beside stormeye. "To keep us prepared and for the attack, if it should happen, not to get to us when we are weak."

" They would have sent us another sign." She huffed
