Milkyway's Apprentice Ceremony

Rippedsky had thought long and hard about his decision to make the former loner one of the clan's apprentices. Pineheart had not come from quite the same background, but she had become a loyal Skyclan warrior. After a bit of internal debate, the deputy had settled on a decision. His claws scored the tallbranch once more and he let his call echo through the camp, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the tallbranch for a clan meeting!"

Milkyway had heard the call and blinked not really knowing what it meant. The apprentices aged she kit padded from where she had been staying in the camp head tilted just a tad bit curious.

"Milkyway, please step forwards." The sound of the non-clan name on his tongue felt a bit awkward. He could not wait to rid the young she-cat of it and make her an actual apprentice. If Crowstar ripped his pelt off later on for allowing another loner to stay, it would only serve to make his name for fitting. The thought of his missing mentor caused the deputy to frown slightly. However, he quickly recovered in order to finish off the ceremony, "We are gathered here today to name another apprentice. Milkyway is ready to train as a Skyclan apprentice. From this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Blossompaw. Pineheart will be your mentor. I know she will be the best to teach you of clan life and loyalty."

Milkyway had been caught off fairs by the name she was called but she figures it was normal for the name change. Which probably meant she was staying. Confusion still lot her eyes but she smiled some ears pricked. So she was called Blossompaw now well that was going to be something to get used to.
