The air was crisp, and the leaves of the surrounding trees had died and fallen to the ground. Dewstar could see her breath as she scaled the Highrock, her short pelt fluffing up in an attempt to keep warm. She yowled into the clearing to signal for a gathering under the Highrock.

Spottedflight yawned, having just woken up from a nice long warm nap in the warriors den. Oh, right! Leafkit's ceremony she thought, remembering the little kit that reminded her of herself at that age. She took her place beneath Highrock and waited to find out who would train her.
