The world seemed to burn (Open)

Rockthorn's breath came quick in heavy as heat blasted the side of his face, his eyes cold and hard very much the opposite of the fire that lay lit in his jaws. Something was off with it, it had not moved from it's perch on his chosen branch, it had not lit anything thus far which was a bit discouraging but perhaps he was just good with preventing things from catching fire before he made it to Thunderclan territory. Paws slowed to a stop as he looked around the territory, he had just crossed the scent marker what seemed like moments ago. But he knew where he was, he was in the middle of Thunderclan territory and was about to light it.

He'd be in and out before the fire could catch up to him, tilting his head he pushed it into the bushes and the bark on the trees. The brambles and grass, the ferns. Everything. Insane with the euphoria the fire gave him as it started to engulf everything, he snickered which quickly gave into a crackling cackle. But he couldn't stay long or the fire would take him as it's first real meal. Turning quickly on his foot he shot towards the soft earth of Skyclan territory Though he doubted the fire could really do much damage to Riverclan or Shadowclan for that matter. But with a strong enough fire it could do whatever it wanted.

In an instant, Rockthorn was gone, the fire wiping away the evidence that the tom was ever there.

Cloudstorm woke up with a scream because she heard a loud roaring like sound. "Fire!!!!" She yowled to the camp.

Lionspark was curled tightly in the warriors' den, lost in a deep but welcoming slumber. That was until she was awoken by the loud voice of Cloudstorm next to her. Hearing the young warrior's cry shook her from her sleep, her head shooting up only to be welcomed by the acidic scent that wormed its way into her mouth. Smoke. Fire. "Everycat wake up!" she yowled as she jolted to her paws, darting out of the warriors den as she spared a glance to see Cloudstom within the clearing as well. "Cloudstorm - go wake up the kits and queens!" she ordered with a swish of her tail, knowing that it wasn't her place to give orders but it wasn't really the time to dwell on that. "We need to get everybody out of here!" She spun, darting toward the leaders den. "Darkstar! Wake up! There is a fire!"

Blizzardshine was looking at the clouds with an absent gaze, not far from camp as she tried to put her thoughts in order and her emotions to rest for a bit. It had only been a couple days since she had returned from the patrols she had led to the clans to warn them about Rockthorn, and in all honesty having to ride the wild tornado of emotions she was forced to carry deep within herself four times in the same day had left her way more tired mentally than physically. She still hadn’t been able to sleep properly, as each time she thought she was finally about to drift into the world of dreams another thought or sharp emotion came to disturb her, taking that desired chance away from her grasp, thank StarClan that the short naps she managed to get here and there weren't plagued with nightmares.

She knew that not being in camp and also alone was a risk, but she just needed time to think without the clan noticing how down she was feeling. She cherished each second she spent around the rest of her clan, but there were times when even someone like her only wanted to be alone and let herself sink deep in the troubled waters of her mind and spirit. However, her lone time was quickly interrupted by the asphyxiating smell of smoke, and the voice of Cloustorm putting in words the message that her own nose had already delivered to her.

Not wasting a single second, she got up and dashed towards camp at full seed. Newleaf had brought life to the forest, but it had also brought heat…and the heat and lack of recent rains had caused the forest to go dry, giving the fire perfect fuel to cause as much destruction as it possibly could. There was no time to lose, the camp had to be evacuated now.

“ThunderClan! We need to leave, right now! Apprentices, help the queens, elders and kits! Warriors, make sure none is left behind but don’t risk your lives! Help if you can, if not leave right away!” Her words echoed across the camp as she quickly made her way to Darkstar’s den, hoping to find her in there “Darkstar, there is a fire in the territory, we need to evacuate!”.

Owlpaw was tiredly staring off into the distance not able to sleep cause of nightmares when she heard commotion outside. Then a second later she smelled some acid smell, what was that scent? It did not smell good that was for sure. But as she saw Lionspark and her mentor rushing around outside yowling about something. She heard something about a fire her ears perked up she immediately got to her paws waking up every cat around her with a loud yowl. Of course she has heard the destructive powers of fires from stories but this was not some story. "Wake up everyone, there`s a fire! Get up you furballs!" She was making sure every cat was awake before she ran out of the den her eyes darting to and fro wondering what to do.

Cloudstorm ran back to where her kits were and scooped up Daykit and Adderkit. "Hailkit, Tigerkit, Splashkit, Redkit, Birchkit Mistlekit, Mintkit wake up and make everybody else up!" She meowed and then went out and handed Owlpaw Daykit.

Hawkpaw heard the scream and jumped up, hitting his head on the den roof. His movement woke Falconpaw who was beside him. Hawkpaw bolted out the den, staring at the flames before looking at Cloudstorm. There were so many kits to get out the nursery but- he looked at the medicine cat den, the herb.. ThunderClan would have none, not even in the territory! He decided that wouldn't matter, he'd have to go with Blizzardshine to get some from Pepper's supply! He raced to Cloudstorm. "We need to get everyone out, but- who first?" He yowled over the flames.

Falconpaw woke with a start, watching Hawkpaw leave, smelling fire, he yowl, waking up the the other apprentices. When he went to get out of the den, a large branch fell with a crash in front of the entrance, setting bramble aflame and.. blocking his exit as the flame climbed.

Cloudstorm looked at Hawkpaw. "Go get the kits and other queens! I may still be a queen but I need to stay behind to help!" She meowed and handed Himself Adderkit and then told him to lead her other kits out. She went on to the apprentices den. "Hello! Anybody in here?!" She exclaimed.

Sandblaze ran over to his sister from the warriors den. "Let me help!" And he noticed she nodded gratefully.

Leafpaw leapt up with a screech of surprise, coughing as smoke began wafting through the camp. "We need to wake up the camp!"
He leapt into the clearing, filling his lungs with the smoking air and letting loose a ear-splitting yowl. "Fire!" He screeched.

He turned, staying near the other apprentices and helping carry the kits. He stayed near Sunpaw's old friends especially. If, no, once she got back, she'd kill him if she ever learned he'd let her friends get hurt.
"How'd the fire start?" He mewed through his teeth, carrying Stormkit in his jaws.

Owlpaw had Daykit in her jaws as she made sure everyone was okay especially her friends. "I have no idea! Cloudstorm I think was the one who alerted everyone." She had no idea what to do with Daykit she was panicking at this point. Her mind going instantly to her friends and family being perished in the fire.

The smell of smoke reached Clearpaw's nose, the commotion in camp stirring him awake. He had never smelled anything like it before... It smelled sharp, and he wrinkled his nose, his ears slowly picking up bits and pieces of conversation outside the apprentice den. Fire... Fire?! Clearpaw leapt to his paws and raced from the apprentice den, scrambling through the small entrance. He raced over to the nursery, trying to use a calm, collected voice as he encouraged the kits to stay with their mothers as they made their way out of camp. His eyes canned the clearing for his mentor, worry evident in them even as he tried to remain calm.

Reedpaw woke up with all the screaming and movement of the other cats. It was his first time sleeping in the apprentice den and everything was just chaos. What is happening?
The pale golden ran out of the den and the scent of the smoke reached his nose. His green eyes widened in fear understanding what was happening. A fire... he had to help the others like Blizzardshine said.
The tom ran into the differents dens warning about the incoming danger of the flames. But his thoughts only could think of his own family and... his twin. The apprentice turned his attention to the medicine den, where her sister was learning about the ways of being a medicine cat. Reedpaw ran into there, searching and calling for her sister, who might be there. "Honeypaw! Where are you!? We must run from here!"

Falconpaw spotted a part of the bramble den wall that was burning and rammed into it repeatedly, breaking through and running to the nursery. He cleared away any falling branches, in fact, he actually batted one away from the kits as well, his pads would be burnt but that was okay. "C-cloudstorm, you can't stay here, grabs some kits and just get out!" He turned to Owlpaw. "St-stay low, the kits can't breathe​in ash!" He looked at Daykit in her jaws. "A-and.. be careful!" He finished his advice, not wanting either of them hurt. "Cloudstorm, let me take A-adderkit. Y-you should keep count."

Hawkpaw nodded to the queen and pushed himself into the nursery, grabbing any kit he could, dropping them outside and then going back to get another. Any complaint went on deaf ears.

Specklepaw sputtered awake as she was woken by Falconpaw, her eyes misting through tears as she opened her mouth to ask what was happening before breaking into a spree of coughs. Once she recovered she realized what was happening, she shot to her paws before rushing up to the entrance before finding that blocked too. Hissing in frustration she backed away and turned to the den wall, the fire was engulfing the den quickly but she had to be quicker.

Reeling back Specklepaw picked up her paws and shoved them into the wall, a yowl ripping from her throat from the amount of determination and pain she was feeling as the heat heated her pelt and her paw pads were ripped up by thorns from the bramble walls. "Go! Get out of here!" She screeched as she ripped away wall piece after wall piece, her thick fur fluffing up as the hole in the den wall was opening wide enough for the apprentices.

Adderkit gave a squeak of surprise as she was picked up from her sleep. Her kitten fur ruffled up as she was picked up and then passed off to an apprentice. Her grayish eyes wide with confusion and fear. 

Meanwhile Pinekit eyes up a bit and she for to her paws ears flat against her small head.
