Rocky Clouds (open birth topic)

Cloudstorm once again pregnant laid in her nest sharp pains going through her body. She winced each time she had a contraction. She almost called out form Rockthorn before she realized that he left and never loved their kits. Or maybe her brother was wrong? Maybe that's why he wants one of their kits, because maybe he really did care for her and their kits and was pretending that he didnt because other cats could use that as leverage. She hissed in pain as a particularly sharp bit of pain hit her and she grabbed a nearby stick and bit down. Here we go. Soon she had three kits next to her. A little brown and black tabby(Rockkit), a little brown Anne black and gray tabby(Daykit), and a charcoal colored spotted kit(Adderkit) were all laying next to her belly and she gently licked their heads. "You shall be my little Rockkit since you look so much like your father. You shall be my little Daykit because I know you'll shine brighter than the day. And you shall be my little Adderkit because I know you'll be as fierce as one. Welcome to the world my children." She meowed softly gently nosing each kit as she named them.

Ic: the charcoal spotted she kit squirmed at her mother's belly. Her paws kneading her mother's belly as she suckled feircly but her gently. Adderkit gave quiet purrs of content as she did.

Rockkit gave a soft squeal, his fur fluffing up as it dried. The small tom cuddled into his mother's fur as his paws picked up to knead at the she-cat's belly to increase the milk production.

Cloudstorm purred and gazed down at her kits in wonder. Why wouldn't Rockthorn love these kits?

Daykit suckled quietly and happily and when he was done he crawled on top of his brother and went to sleep.

Mistlekit and Mintkit stared at their newborn siblings from just outside the nursery. Mistlekit stared in awe, while Mintkit was nervous around them. "Do you think we were like that once?" Mistlekit mewed to his sister, who quietly nodded her head.

Owlpaw was also outside the nursery her paws pawing the ground. Owlpaw was scared for her mentor she has heard stories about queens dying giving birth. But as she heard the loud squeals of newborn kits she smiled happily all her worry evaporating. She overheard the two kits purring, "Yes you two were. Even your mother and father were once like that. Every cat stared in their life like that." She wanted to visit her mentor to check on her and visit newborn kits but she wasn't sure if she can.

Cloudstorm heard voices and called out to them. "Its alright. Come on in. It's cold outside. Mistlekit, Mintkit what were you doing out at this hour. You should be in the bigger nest sleeping with the others." She meowed looking over at her five other kits.

Falconpaw was resting his head on his paws nearby, his tail flicking thoughtfully as he wondered what Emberpaw was doing now. He watched a better skitter across the dirt in front of his paws and stood up with a stretch. Hearing a hiss from the nursery, he quickly scrambled over to the entrance. It sounded like Cloudstorm's after all. "C-cloudstorm! Are you oka- ohh..." He looked down at the newborns with wide eyes.

Cloudstorm looked up at Falconpaw and smiled. "Hey Falconpaw. Come meet Rockkit, Daykit, and Adderkit." She meowed.

He blinked and padded very carefully into the den, his head lowered to see them in the low light of the nursery. "They're so... L-little!" He murmured​, the bony tom had little difficulty fitting in the nursery unlike most and smiled at someone other than Emberpaw​ for the first time, an event that was tremendous for the troubled orphan.

Owlpaw saw Falconpaw squeeze inside and went in after him. It was hard for to fit in too with her big size and long fur. She gasped as she saw the kits her eyes turned to stars, "They are so cute and tiny!" She exclaimed.
