There's Hope Yet [Open]

Bubblekit squeaked as she felt her sisters needle like teeth on her tail and she rolled off her sister and got into a mock battle stance her fluffy tail held high into the air. She was far bigger than any of her other siblings so she had an advantage.

Rosekit growled softly still trying not to laugh as she rolled away. Her giggling gave in as Bubblekit did a battle stance her fluffy tail to the sky, she was laughing so hard she fell to the ground. Not taking any of this seriously unlike her siblings she got up after a few moments with tears in her eyes then charged at her sister that was twice the size of her, smartly though she zigzagged right as she was about to hit Bubblekit and managed to hit her side.

Bubblekit shrieked and fell overz.

Willowkit didn't like his father's answer, wanting to keep arguing with Swanpaw. But when the possibility of Rippedsky giving him a look filled with disappointment came to mind, his tiny mouth stayed shut. The gray tom watched his sisters start play fighting again, patience running out like grains of dirt falling away from his paws.

"Whatever." The striped kit's fur bristled as he padded away towards the nursery, deciding to explore the camp by himself later.

The tiny bundle of fluff known as Yarrowkit rolled out of the mossy den. Pieces of the green substance were stuck to her claws after playing with her nest in the middle of the night. She opened her mouth and let out a squeaky yawn, and stretched back her legs. Her ears flicked as she blinked her eyes, adjusting to the sunlight. Yarrowkit was new to the clan life, and new to the world. She looked around for any den-mates to see if they wanted to play. She was still a little small to play rough, and was still adjusting to her paws.

Rosekit rose from being tangled up with Bubblekit then saw Yarrowkit and bounced over to the black and white she-cat. "Hey,Yarrowkit come play with us! We are finally outside!" She flicked her tail to the small bundles of fur and their father and older sister.

Rippedsky shook his head slightly at his son's grumpy attitude. They would have to talk later. Maybe Cherrymist would talk to him in the nursery anyways. His long tail flicked casually as he watched the kits play. A soft smile returned to his maw. They certainly had some spirit. As one would come close to him, he would bat at them gently with a soft front paw. It was nice to be able to play with kits again. They had an innocence about them that rarely stayed as cats aged. The older members of the clan were always fairly serious. This was a great way to relax after organizing the day's patrols and training.

Yarrowkit puffed out her chest excitedly and strutted playfully towards Rosekit. The young kit streaked a beaming smile "what are we going to play?" Her short attention span, gifted to those of the younger moons quickly took over, as she saw a butterfly and crouched down. She wiggled her haunches are pounced, the butterfly escaping through her paws and fluttering away. "I almost caught it, and I'm not even an apprentice yet!" Yarrowkit boasted playfully, and looked over to her father Rippedsky. She stumbled over to him, "did you see that dad? I almost caught a butterfly!"

Bubblekit bounded over to Yarrowkit and pounced on her. "Rawr! Im a Tigerclan warrior!!" She said.

Yarrowkit let out an airy mew and raised her hackles "No! You're trespassing on my territory! I am Yarrowstar, prepare for battle!" The bicolored kitten let out a playful battle cry and batted at Bubblekit.

Bubblekit leaped at Yarrowkit and rolled around with her before pinning her. "I have pinned the mighty Yarrowstar!" Bubblekit giggled as she looked down at her smaller sibling.

Rosekit saw the tussle and decided to jump in. "No! Yarrowstar! I will save you!" She ran straight for Bubblekit knocking her away from Yarrowkit. "Are you okay Yarrowstar!"
