New Hope In The Distance[OPEN]

Dustkit was padding behind his father but ahead of his younger siblings. He knew he wanted to be at the front but when his father threw the moss ball all his siblings took off. Dustkit thought that tiny challenge was too easy for him and so he did the unpredictable, attack the source. Dustkit pounced onto his dad's tail and bit his dads tail. His teeth werent even sharp enough but it would still be felt.

Dustkit let go with a sigh while in his mind hating how he couldnt do more damage. "But papa, you're a strong warrior, Way better than some mossball that doesnt even fight back." he mewed, complaining about having to stop. The kit was only a moon old but was so excited to be an appretice, then no one couldn't tell him to stop fighting.

Quickkit after Acornkit had giggled at Dustkit, and padded up to Sootstorm he proposed a game, so she went over to listen. At the mention of it she was shocked a kit would even be allowed to be in the Warriors Den. “Sleep with you? In the Warriors Den?” she said excitedly. So the moment the moss ball was thrown she knew she had to go for it as fast as she could, she was Quickkit after all. Well, normally she wouldn’t have gone off racing towards a moss ball, Dustkit was right in that their father is much better to chase than a moss ball, however a chance to sleep on warriors den is a chance you cannot afford to lose at least in her opinion. Well, then came a chance to learn a battle move, okay now she had a choice well she could go over to Sootstorm & the others and learn a battle move, or go after a moss ball and get to sleep with Sootstorm in the Warriors den. Well, if she got it quickly then there would be time for both. Just the thought sped her up. What kit would resist the opportunity to learn a battle move, and sleep with their father in warriors den? Not her, and that was certain.

Dustkit looked at the new cat with a confused stare. She looked like an older version of acornkit, which he did not like. He didnt want his baby sister growing up. Never. She would stay his baby sister forever. "Because a mossball cant fight back." he hissed at her before looking towards his father. "What will you teach us?" he mewed, his demeanor completely changing. He padded over to his father and sat down, tail wrapped over his tiny paws.

A skinny brown tabby padded over to join the group. A full moon older, Duskkit towered over the young litter. “Can I join you guys?” she mewed. “It looks like you’re having fun.”

Quickkit had quickly gotten the moss ball, and went to return it to Sootstorm. Going through the other kits trying to trying to use their paws to do some sort of attack. She mingled her way through careful not to get hit, she didn’t want her mother to have to groom her fur again. “Does this mean I gets to sleep with you in the warriors den tonight?” she exclaimed. She had to be sure of it. If not she would jump onto his face. Well, she was already going to do that, because he started teaching the others the battle move before she got back. As she readied herself. She stopped just before to listen to Rosepaw as she encouraged her for how fast she went, her eyes gleamed with pride. Then she guessed her name perfectly on the first guess. Quickkit was a little embarrassed, but not much as she said “How did you know?” Forgetting her plans to jump on her father’s face she had told him. “Now teach me the battle move!” she said. Wanting to learn it so she could practice with the others.
