Light Shining Off The Frozen Ground ~Open~

"Of course!!" Cloverkit yelled before throwing some snow at the tom.

Shiningkit glanced at Frozenkit and shrugged her shoulders. She turned to Blazingkit and whispered "You can distract the 'vole' by humping into him and talking while me and Frozenkit stalk it!" She looked at Frozenkit to make sure that this plan was good and head butted Blazingkit "Come on! Lets put this plan into action!" her squeaky mew was filled with excitement.


ooc: sorry it took me forever to post again lol. I must have been living in a whole for a couple of days;).

"Yeah!" Blazingkit replied, and became so excited he hopped around. He then ran into the bushes to sniff out a vole. He placed each paw in front of him surprisingly carefully, and opened his mouth to taste the air.

Shiningkit giggled " Not a real vole, silly" she meowed loudly with laughter. Then she leaned closer and in a hushed mew she said " Blacktwig is the vole and we're going to sneak up on him and pounce while you distract him, remember?" Then, to make up for if she hurt his feelings, she purred and meowed " I'm just teasing"

Blacktwig flicked his ears. He had a keener sense of hearing than the kits expected, and thus, he could hear their plotting. However, he continued sitting leisurely, pretending he hadn't noticed. He seemed mirthful, but an influx of worry bashed him on the inside. Many events that were rather depressing had occurred, but these kits stayed true to their names: Shiningkit and Blazingkit, shining and blazing lights in the dark, and Frozenkit, and ode to the cold winter season.

Frozenkit had followed after her sister and hissed, hitting her sister's side with her tail. Speaking far quieter than her sister Frozenkit giggled. "Hush Shiningkit! He'll hear you!" Frozenkit then looked at Blazingkit, a smile on her face. "But she is right silly. You ready to start the game?"

"Oh.. Okay!" he mewed excitedly. He creeped up behind him, a huge smile on his face. Then he jumped into the air, tumbling into... The snow right next to Blacktwig. Pulling his muzzle out of the cold, frosty material, he stepped on Blacktwig's tail. "Oops!" he exclaimed. Then, focusing harder, Blazingkit threw himself onto Blacktwig's hind leg repeatedly like a twoleg 'monster'.

OOC: LOL Blazingkit was supposed to distract Blacktwig but I guess that works.... xD

IC: Frozenkit waited until Blazingkit had leapt at Blacktwig. While the tom-kit plopped into the snow next to the warrior, Frozenkit deemed Blacktwig sufficiently distracted and rushed forward, tapping her sister's shoulder, and jumping onto Blacktwig. As she landed on his neck and head she used her front paws to try and push his face into the snow. She had been aiming more for his legs front legs to keep him pinned down but she figured this was just as efficient. A moment later she giggled as Blacktwig's form was jostled by the impact of the other two kits.

Shiningkit leaped onto Blacktwig's back, and her tiny claws stuck out, trying to hang on. When she got her balance back, she nipped Blacktwig's shoulder. "come on Frozenkit, Blazingkit! If we catch this vole the whole clan will be full for a quarter moon! We will be made warriors that second!" Shiningkit yowled in her triumph of attacking 'the vole', Blacktwig, and nipped a little more ferociously at his shoulder this time. She wondered if any of the other kits were watching them. She hoped that her mother was not watching. She would get a scolding then. Scolding's were not fun. She shook her head. I must focus on catching the vole! she thought eagerly and nipped the 'vole' once more to get her self back in the game's mind set.

Blacktwig laughed as he toppled to the ground, letting out tiny squeals as if to mimic a vole. His front paws jittered, but his eyes gleamed with amusement. He felt the small, harmless claws sink into his shoulders, laying on the ground, as if helplessly. He looked at Blazingkit, and flicked his tail with entertainment.

Blazingkit giggled as his two friends pounced and attacked the 'vole'. He stepped back, readying himself, and flung himself into Blacktwig's side. But, instead of helping, he bounced off into a sharp, thorny shrub. Squealing, he struggled as spiked branches entangled him and cut into his flesh. A large spine sliced his head as he tumbled into the snow. Blood seeped out of his head and painted the snow around him crimson.

"Blazingkit!" Cloverkit meowed from where she was abt to pounce on Blacktwig, and ran over to her friend.

Blacktwig gasped, scuttling forwards. "Blazingkit, are you okay?" he asked, dropping his 'vole' act to assist the young, male kit. He saw the splotch of vermilion in the perfect white snow, and his heart lurched. He tried to nudge him up, but drew away in fears of making it worse. It didn't seem bad, but it probably was for a kit. He crouched down, scenting blood in the cold air.

"I-I think I'm okay," mewed Blazingkit in reply, trying to smile. He stood himself up on shaky, stinging legs, and limped painstakingly slowly to the medicine den. Entering the dimly lit den, he set himself on the floor, waiting for the medicine cat to notice him.

Frozenkit squeaked in fear at the sound of Blazingkit's squealing. Seeing the blood she leapt off of Blacktwig and rushed up behind Cloverkit. "Oh my gosh!" Very frantic Frozenkit looked at her sister with worry before looking over to Cloverkit.

She then noticed that Blazingkit had started on his way over to a different den, one she assumed was the medicine cat's. Rushing after him, Frozenkit entered the den but instead of waiting quietly Frozenkit called out. "Dreamleaf! Sparkpaw! Blazingkit's bleeding from his head!!!!" She honestly hadn't seen what happened, only the aftermath.
