Chilly Breezes and Shining Stars (Open)

The tabby silently stared into the inky black sky, her mind clouding and her eyes closing. She yawned, then coughed shortly after. She rested her head on her paws, her calm breathing slowing. A soft Leaf-fall breeze ruffled her short pelt.

Whitefoot crept into the clearing late, he knew he shouldn't have been hunting so late but he loved the night.

Salmonstripe, tired as she was, heard the delicate paw-steps of Whitefoot, her precious son. "Hello, Whitefoot, honey." She greeted the young tom.

Whitefoot dipped his head in respect to his mother as he sat besides her, "How've you been mom?" He mewed his bright amber eyes glancing at her tired self.
