Drifting Revenge [closed for Midnee]

ic;; Kayla stalked the plains of the Twolegplace... the unbelievably dreary plains, anyways. Her face was pulled into an awful grimace, and she leapt onto a garbage can, announcing her authority. This was the same, snowy white cat that had killed Galepaw, the daughter of Pinewhisker, and his former mate, the fluffy white she-cat named Sheepnose. This was where her namesake originated from, after all. Kayla remembered her kittypet origins, and she scowled. Never again shall I return to those hairless beasts, she thought with scorn.

Kayla hadn't changed her name, but that didn't mean that she hadn't tried to forget. Forget all of her owners, who always had their families over, and it truly overwhelmed her, and forget that abusive son who had tried to murder her, it seemed. Forget all of it.

Kayla slammed her paw down on the trash can, and the rubbish inside of it overflowed. She leapt off, as the top slid off of the can itself, creating a horrible screeching noise that the feline took pleasure it. It fell to the ground with a loud clattering, but Kayla remained undaunted. The small she-cat didn't leap back with fear, but watched as it fell. She turned around, blue eyes shining.

Her moment of pride and power seemed eternal. That was, until, she spotted a figure larger than her come up in the distance. She squinted, confused. Must be a rogue, she thought dismissively, letting her guard down.

She was wrong.

Her fur was long and matted and her amber eyes were dull.Cream swirls flowed through her grey pelt in a drifting effect.Her long fluffy tail dragged along the ground and her head drooped.This dusty She-cat was exhausted begging for her journey to end so she could return to her home.Driftpaw regretted leaving her family more than anything.

Driftpaw had spent moons wandering.She knew everywhere fairly well and she knew most of the cats around the area by smell alone.She'd never spoken to any of them,she'd just stared at them trying to work out who they were.

This time she'd she spotted a new unfamiliar cat.This cat made her prickle with hatrid and anger.Driftpaw didn't know her,but she was almost certain of who this rogue now was.

And she was certain this rogue wouldn't be around to kill anymore cats.

After moons of searching she had found the cat who had brutally murdered her sister,Galepaw.She'd make this white She-cat pay and then she could return to her clan,hopefully unnoticed.

The dusty She-cat switched course immediately,her dull amber eyes lighting up with a sudden fire.The shyness of Driftpaw streamed off of her as she pounded towards the rogue.

She stopped a tail-length in front of the rogue.Her claws unsheathed,her eyes blazing and her stature tall and domineering.Driftpaw was over come by something,something she had never felt before.Pure hatrid.Sure she'd hated her step brother,but that was petty hatrid this was pure hatrid that nothing could stop.Driftpaw stared at the rogue then opened her maw to speak,her stutter was gone as she spoke loud and clear"Hello,my name is Driftpaw.You killed my sister prepare to die."
"You killed her,you foul piece of scum!You killed my sister.I hate you!"

Driftpaw let out a yowl of fury and flung herself at the white She-cat.

Kayla's eyes blazed as she looked at the stranger, fur fluffed up. She looked as big as a wolf. She sat back on her haunches, her eyes glistening like dew on fire. Her claws hooked the ground. She saw the dusty she-cat approach her, and she crouched. Oh, barely a kit. Kayla thought with relief. She knew she wouldn't get anywhere by killing a kit, so the murderous she-cat straightened up. Her base stopped gripping the ground, and her shoulders relaxed.

Unfortunately, she had no clue that this cat was the kin of Galepaw, whom she had murdered a few moons ago. Kayla met Driftpaw's orbs, which had pure hatred inside of them. Kayla hissed, noticing the vexation that Driftpaw felt. She, unfortunately, didn't expect what was to happen next.

Driftpaw pounced.

They rolled and tussled around, and Kayla clawed at Driftpaw's pelt, for which the former ThunderClan apprentice was named for. Kayla bared her fangs, in a horrific scowl, but it was too late. She let out a squeak of pain as the two she-cats hit the wall. It reminded her solely of her skirmish with Galepaw, who she soon killed.

She could do this.

"Get off of me!" Kayla spat helplessly, her paws flailing. Her pelt was now stained with blood, as red as deathberries. "Aargh!" she screeched, kicking up with her hind legs. This new feline put up a much tougher fight than Galepaw, the confident, cocky she-cat had. She remembered her lilac fur, pelting past her. Her attacks had proven themselves lethal on that poor, miserable soul. She'd have to do it again.

Kayla aimed for the throat, but the attempt was futile. As much as her jaws tried, she couldn't hit the target that was Driftpaw's jugular. Kayla growled as Driftpaw's claws strapped all over her, and she gasped. She closed her eyes, focusing her energy on defeating the kin of Galepaw.

"You slaughtered her!What did she ever do to you?You didn't even know her did you think that I wouldn't care that some petty little rogue like you slaughtered my sister?Some smart cat you are!"she spat as she held Kayla against the wall.As Driftpaw looked into Kayla's eyes she seemed to know she had won.That the tiny rogue had no chance.

She smirked slightly as Kayla struggled underneath her.Sometimes having fur as long as hers helped,other times it was nuisance."Are you done struggling?"meowed Driftpaw she could feel her timid self slowly shrinking back in,seeping through her open wounds.

I can finish this!

Driftpaw release Kayla from her grip , letting the white She-cat drop to the ground."Get up,rogue"she hissed"I want to see your face when I kill you,like you killed my sister."

Driftpaw charged at the white She-cat,her pelt was a dusty blur as she smashed Kayla into the wall.

Kayla felt limp underneath Driftpaw's fluffy cream paws. The rogue's neck was in a unnatural position and her eyes wide in terror.

Driftpaw stared at what she had done. She had killed a cat.What would ThunderClan think of her?

"I'm sorry..."muttered Driftpaw.

She glanced at Kayla' crippled body one final time then turned and pelted towards her forest home.

At least she had finished what she had needed to do.

Kayla lay there, with her neck broken. There was not much to the villainous rogue, except for the fact that she had gotten a taste of her own medicine. Her legs splayed out horribly, her neck bent all the way back grossly, and her eyes wide open, in the same expression of terror she lived her last seconds with.

Kayla was dead.

Just as she had killed her last victim.
