Kill Me Now (Open to all)

"I-I'm sorry, Crowstar," Rippedpaw hung his head as Antdrop left. It was all his fault that there was this division in the clan. Because Crowstar had taken him in, there were issues. He was grateful the leader stood up for him in the midst of cats that were against him. It also seemed like the Skyclan leader understood more than anyone else why he had to leave Windclan. But he still felt as if it were his fault for causing something within the clan.

Eagleheart had re-emerged from the warrior's den as he heard the clan leader's voice ring out through camp. He growled in frustration, understanding Antdrop's anger. The clan was becoming a bunch of rogues, but the tom prided himself in having Skyclan parents. He wanted to step out and take up Antdrop's challenge against Rippedpaw, but he had to respect the clan leader's word.
"Mouse dung," He spat quietly from the edge of the camp.

Cherrymist gasped and followed her uncle in the woodland, gritting her teeth as she plunged after nis scent into the territory. She could not believe that Crowstar was treating this traitorous apprentice of WindClan so highly! The blind she-cat continued her way, not wishing for any cat to follow.

Sunblaze and Leafstream had only just arrived at camp to find every cat staring at Rippedpaw. "What's goin' on?"Sunblaze hissed in Leafstream's ear. "How am i supposed to know?"

Crowstar looked back to Rippedpaw for just a moment. "This isn't your fault Rippedpaw." The leader still held his glare. "Clan pride is important, but it should never get the better of anyone. I guess it's my time to remind you that none of us have any true skyclan blood. The last of skyclan blood died off with Silentstar the leader before Breezestar who was the leader before me, but what makes us Skyclan is our hearts, and our passion for our clan. If you believe you are skyclan then you are skyclan, and nothing can change that." He said addressing his clan.

"The clans already looked down on us. They don't appreciate where we came from, and the fact that Silentstar brought us back to our rightful place all those moons ago. The only clan that sees us as clan cats is Riverclan. I bet that Windclan still doesn't see us as a clan. While we making Thunderclan and Shadowclan see who we truely are. We are a clan. Our families were brought together by Silentstar, and supported by Breezestar, and I'm continuing to support anyone who believes in Skyclan. If you believe in me and believe in us then your are a skyclan cat, and one who says other wise just doesn't get it, and if you have an argument with how I view this then feel free to protest. Go ahead, but if you want to get mad at some rogues for being in camp then you should look at all of us cause we are all rogues if we go by blood." The leader looked at everyone who was watching him. He was waiting for a protest, waiting for one word. "We don't have a long line like the other clans do. What makes us Skyclan is hard work and our determination, our ability to climb trees and hunt in trees. And if former Shadowclan cats and windclan cats can do all of those things then so be it, I have no protest as long as they serve Skyclan and Starclan." He didn't want his clan to hate him, but he felt like they needed to be reminded of where their families came from.

Oceanlight rolled her eyes after Antdrop left. It was interesting, how he can call his own father and leader a mousebrain. Every cat is thinking SkyClan's becoming a bunch of rogues. It already is, why complain now? She made a silent yowl of agreement to Crowstar's speech, then turned back and went into her den.

Rippedpaw's eyes widened as the leader spoke. He'd never heard the backstory of Skyclan before... it made him feel more like he belonged. The apprentice took in every word, impressed with Crowstar's confidence. It reminded him of why he had such respect for the clan leader. I want to be like him someday. Not even just as a leader, but as a warrior. In that moment he vowed to no longer let his past distract him from the future he had he. He was no longer just a former Windclan cat, but a Skyclan cat. As Skyclan as the rest.
