December Gathering 2016

Hazeflight purred as Flamepaw took a seat beside her and flicked her tail in acknowledgment to Eagleheart's prescence.She wanted so bad to fall asleep in her mate's thick fur but their romance was forbidden.Hazeflight looked at Eagleheart longingly but quickly straightened up.Mouse-dung!I need to be more careful or they'll find out!Hey,Flamepaw.Hey Eagleheart"she purred.Hazeflight glanced at Eagleheart's claws.Keep it together,Eagleheart.You can do it.

Rockpaw crashed into the clearing just behind Darkstar, head raised high as he skimmed the crowds of cats searching for his friend Mottlepaw. Once he saw the calico apprentice he sped past his leader and pushed and shoved his way through the crowds, his tail and head held high as he padded to the tom. Shoving aside Brindlepaw and inserting himself against Mottlepaw with a grumble and fluffing his fur up against the cold, his eyes brightening as he looked at the smaller tom. "Hey there! How are you?" Unashamedly looking down at the younger tom and being quite bold. The excitement of being to his first gathering making him shake and his nerves sing, and nose and ears twitch.

Looking away from Mottlepaw he looked at all the other clans, ears perking to each conversation and his nose picking out the smells of Shadowclan, Skyclan, and Windclan. Where was Riverclan? He was missing out on a great learning experience if they didn't show up! Turning back to Mottlepaw he adjusted to face the tom more fully and to shut out Brindlepaw from their conversation.

Blizzardshine smiled as she walked into Fourtrees alongside the rest of ThunderClan. Instead of going towards the area deputies occupied she decided to greet some cats and have a nice chat with them while RiverClan arrived and the gathering could officially start. She was sincerely curious about the WindClan cats though, as some of them she had seen on previous gathering held new scars and all of them seemed to be really tense. Did something happened between the last gathering and this one in their territory?

Pebblepaw was practicing to hunt. She walked closer and closer, her green eyes turning into slits, ...and pounced on the rock. "I caught it!" the young she-cat yowled.

"It's true! And I love you, you're the sweetest cat!" Icelaw exclaimed. He wanted to be with the she-car forever, only if they were in the same clans. Perhaps we can meet secretly at night?

Sparkpaw proudly strode up front, behind Darkstar and beside Dreamleaf. Her first gathering as a full, proper medicine cat apprentice? She tingled with excitement as she sat down, eagerly waiting for the events of the night to commence.

Amberpaw blinked and was quiet for a moment"maybe so but.....maybe we could meet every now and then....cause I only know you a little"The black she cat mewed quietly.

Twistedpaw squinted past Sprucepaw, shaking a little as she recognized Rippedpaw in a group of Skyclan cats. Forgetting the other cats around her, she nudged Sprucepaw. "Is that Rippedpaw?" she whispered, flicking her tail towards the frighteningly familiar cat. 

Pinewhisker joined the ThunderClanners, strolling within them. It was nice to see the full moon again. A few weeks ago he would've been dead if it wouldn't have been for Emberheart's dedication to bring him back to camp in time to be saved by Dreamleaf...

He shook his head and pressed on, sour.

Sprucepaw looked over to where Twistedpaw was pointing and sure enough there was the black and white pelt of his best friend,Rippedpaw.Should I go talk to him?He probably won't want to talk to me now he's in SkyClan.sprucepaw turned back to the group of cats,flicking his tail in greeting to the newcomers.The tom leaned over and whispered to Twistedpaw"You wanna go talk to him?

Emberheart trotted up beside Pinewhisker, comforted by his familiar coat and warmth against the cold air. She tried to ignore it, but it made her feel strangely…safer, in a way, when he was beside her.

She shook the thought off, and her eyes widened with familiar awe and happiness as the full Gathering came into view. It was just as great as she'd remembered when she'd been an apprentice. Letting out a happy yip, almost like a kit, she bounded forward to race through a group of apprentices and disappear into the crowd, her russet pelt flashing.

Flamepaw noticed Hazeflight give Eagleheart a strange look and he cocked his head in confusion. Does she know him? The Shadowclan scented Skyclan coming off of the other tom's brown and white pelt. He'd have to ask Hazeflight about it later.
"I'm Flamepaw," The apprentice meowed and smiled at the other cat's, his gaze darkening a bit as it settled again on the Skyclan tom.

Eagleheart growled a soft warning to Hazeflight, just loud enough for her to hear, as she looked at him. Not the time or place, He wanted to say, No one needs to know I've been seeing a Shadowclan cat. Nothing mattered more to him than his clan, and he couldn't have them knowing about her. Other than maybe his former mentor, Moonlight, no one could doubt his loyalty to Skyclan or have any idea he'd taken a mate from another clan. He noticed her apprentice looking at him strangely and shot him a glare.

"Hey, guys!" Grasspaw meowed happily as she trotted over to Sprucepaw. She didn't know him. It was only her second gathering, but she wanted to mingle with the other clans a bit. Thunderclan was far the best, but the others interested her and it got boring talking to only the same cats all the time, "my name is Grasspaw!". She glanced around briefly for Blazepaw, not remembering if he had come, but didn't see him and turned her gaze to the Windclan apprentices.

Sprucepaw turned his head away from Twistedpaw as a another cat joined there group.He smiled at her ."Oh,hi Grasspaw.I'm sprucepaw of WindClan!"he meowed.Sprucepaw turned back to Twistedpaw rubbing his ear awkwardly as he did so.

Hazeflight turned to Flamepaw noting Eagleheart's growl.Hopefully she was the only one who heard it.""How's it like being an apprentice?"Hazeflight asked Flamepaw.

Twistedpaw nodded and padded towards her old black and white friend, her heart aching. Touching her tail to his side, she whispered, "Rippedpaw? Is that you?"
