| Leaping up onto the willow branch in one swift movement, the deputy looked out onto the clearing with a sigh. It was peaceful up here, and it was particularly exciting as it was another apprentice ceremony. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" |

| Aspenkit poked her head out of the nursery. A meeting? She strode out below the branch and sat down. Maybe it's my apprentice ceremony. About time!

| Smokeface arched his eyebrows as he noticed the deputy was holding the ceremony. He tried to go over it, think it wad just an exception. | Aspenpaw grinned, and went to touch noses with Smokeface. "I'm the best," she whispered. That was certainly a necessary fact - at least, in the brown she-cat's world.
"Aspenpaw!" Tawnystorm cheered for her daughter. She was pleased Smokeface, her first apprentice would mentor her - she couldn't have picked a better cat for the job. That being said, she has to wonder how he'd deal with Aspenpaw's more...arrogant traits.
