Grasskit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardshine leaped onto the Highrock with her usual smile, feeling a lot more confident after the last ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Grasskit raced out into the clearing at the warrior's call. She had waited and waited for this moment, even longer than most kits, so she was well ready for it. As soon as she reached her spot, she wrapped her tail neatly over her paws and looked up expectantly.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock she decided to go on “Grasskit, please, step forward”.

Head and tail held high, she padded forward.

Blizzardshine smiled as the kit stepped forward as asked “Grasskit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Grasspaw” It took her a couple seconds to go on with her next words as she looked at the warriors, trying to pick the right one for the newly named apprentice “Your mentor will be Stormstrike. I hope he passes down all he knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.
