Little Lambs Grow from Pine Trees [OPEN BIRTH TOPIC]

Sheepnose had been surprised and overjoyed when she had found out that she'd be having Pinewhisker's kits, and she had had to move into the nursery and temporarily give up her warrior duties. She lifted her head slightly to look at her swollen belly, full of kits that would soon belong to her and her mate. A purr rumbled in her throat just thinking about it. The only thing that Sheepnose was a bit nervous about was the pain that would come when-.
"AH!' Was the first thing that she exclaimed when she felt pain ripple through her belly. It was excruciating, and she knew that this meant the kits were coming. She leaned her head back so it rested on the moss, but she twitched in pain when another ripple went through her.
"P-PINEWHISKER!" She called, "DREAMLEAF?"

Pinewhisker raced to the nursery faster than be ever had when he heard his mates calls, his face a mixture of horrorr and uncertainty. He crouched besides the she-cat, lending her a stick to chew on, just as he remembered when Emberfall, the WindClan she-cat had given birth to Blacktwig's kits. She purred and gave her a reasuring lick on the ear, gentle, afraid he might provoke her pain.

Sheepnose tried to put on a smile when her mate came in, but there was so much pain that it instantly faded. Upon seeing the stick, she gripped it in her jaws. At Pinewhisker's lick, she felt the comforted knowing that he was here, yet she blinked as more pain rippled through her belly. After beginning to push, the first kit popped out. It had white on it's underbelly, but the rest of it was various shades of light and dark brown. A mix of both her and Pinewhisker.

The soon-to-be-named Sedgekit mewled a few heartbeats after it was born, wanting to start suckling. She felt something nudge her towards something soft, and she began to suckle and put warm milk into her tiny body.

(The kits will come out in the order they signed up for it. So, Sedgekit (Me), Galekit (Dimmeh), Basilkit (Tawny), then Driftkit (Tigerlily.)

OCC:OK cool I am ready to be born!...in order of course

A small kit inside squirmed around in Sheepnoses belly,she gently kicked against Sheepnose's belly.The little she-kit knew it was time to be born.

With another heaving sigh and more pushing, the next kit came out (Galekit). With her tail, she gently guided the newborn kit to her belly to suckle. How many more kits would there be?

(Short post...sighs.)

The soon-to-be-named Galekit began to suckle at her mother's belly. The small, lilac she-kit squirmed around blindly, huddling up to Sheepnose for warmth. She had much to learn, and soon, that would all be discovered.

The kit kicked at Sheepnose's belly again.She felt lonlier now,she knew her siblings were gone but unknown to her they weren't far.She kicked again

Mosswing raced over at Sheepnose's call. Her jaw dropped.
"You didn't tell me you were having kits!" she laughed, attempting to help comfort the white she-cat. "They're beautiful, these two. Heh, it feels like I'm the only one without kits yet, ha."

Pinewhisker glanced down at the kits proudly and liked his mates cheek, before he dropped besides her, not wanting to let his eyes of the kits or Sheepnose. "Sedgekit... and Galekit? Oh, looks like another one is coming." he whispered to his mate and then at Mosswing, begging for something to show him he was doing the right thing.

(I just realized they are going to be 3 pretty girls <3)

Sheepnose weakly smiled at the Havana Brown tom before hissing once again in pain. Out came the last kit, the soon-to-be-named Driftkit. Sheepnose could tell that this kit was the last one, so she gently scooted her towards her belly to suckle. Now she could take the time to admire them. They were beautiful! Her kits...their kits. She lifted her muzzle to touch her nose to Pinewhisker's ear.
"I like the names Sedgekit and Galekit for those two," She said, complimenting her mate's ideas, "How about we name this one Driftkit?" Sheepnose offered, speaking about the youngest one.

Galekit looked like she would soon be a strong young she-kit, with a temper like ice and words like claws. Her eyes were squeezed tight as she batted her littermates, clearly disliking their presence beside her. She seemed to think she would've been the only one. Her paws raked Sheepnose's belly weakly and dully, as she scrabbled over the fluffy queen. Her nose pressed into her soft white fur. Her head was triangular, giving her a regal appearance.

Driftkit squirmed around everything was so strange now.There were new smells and it was cold.The kit snuggled close to its mother and litter mates as everything else was so strange.

"I love the names." he purred, nuzzling Sheepnose back, then giving the squirmy kit a funfny glance. Looking down over Galekit's littermates, Sagekit and Driftkit, he smiled as he pictured the tree sisters growing up together, just as he and Amberlight had. But they've still had a lot of growing up to do, before she got taken away.

To make the dark thought leave his mind, he plopped himself down next to the white queen and their kits.

Driftkit sniffed trying to work out where she was in the strange new world.The shy kit huddled close to her mother.She had a grey coat and cream swirls seemed to drift across it.Her paws were cream as well as her ears and stubby tail.Driftkit scrambled around trying to find warmth.The small kit mewed in a confused tone.

"Me too!" added Mosswing. "Their names are beautiful, just like them."
