An Evening Patrol (Open to 3 others)

Fracturedpaw hadn't done much that day, other than help out around the camp. He was eager to get out of the river guarded area, and no better way to do it was with a patrol. The brown and black tom waited by the entrance to camp, desperately hoping another cat would join him, and maybe even his mentor too, yet he doubted Smokeface could make it.

Fallowpaw hopped up to the young tom, a sparkle in her crystalline blue eyes. "Hey," she meowed, with a bit of a flirtatious tone. "Mind if I tag along with ya?" The she-cat asked, brushing along the brown-and-black tomcat's thick pelt.

Fracturedpaw flicked an ear as a familiar voice drifted towards him, he looked over his shoulder, greeted by the soft expression of Fallowpaw. He couldn't help but purr. "Of course I wouldn't mind," he said in a smooth tone, "in fact, I'm glad you're tagging along." He smiled, feeling her pelt against his.

Fallowpaw gave the tom a lick between the ears. "Oh, I'm the gladdest," she teased with a purr, pressing her nose affectionately against his.

Tawnystorm noticed the two apprentices talking by the camp entrance, and assumed they were about to go on a patrol. Maybe she'd go along with them - after all, they'd need at least one warrior with them. Padding up to the pair, the tabby flicked her tail. "Going on a patrol, you two? I'll come along with you."

Fallowpaw glanced up at Tawnystorm, feeling her cheeks grow hot with raw embarrassment after having been seen with Fracturedpaw, in such a manner that you could even call them mates. "Yeah, you can come," she deadpanned, eyes wide.

Fracturedpaw looked up at the approaching Tawnystom, he simply smiled, acting as if nothing had happened. "Good idea," he stated, remembering they would need a warrior with them. He cast a quick glance at Fallowpaw, noticing her embarrassment.

"Don't forget me." Smokeface grimned as he approached the soon leaving patrol. He dipped his head ro shoq the apprentice his aproovement for the fact he was going on a patrol. Then sat down next to Tawnystorm.

Fracturedpaw looked up at his approaching mentor, he made it! The young apprentice smiled at Smokeface before turning to the others. "Can we leave now?" He asked, glancing between the three other cats.

"Yes, let's go," Tawnystorm nodded and began to lead the patrol out of camp.

Fallowpaw headed out after Tawnystorm, with quick glances in between to Fracturedpaw, who she thought was most likely following behind his mentor, Smokeface.

Smokeface bounded up besides Tawnystorm, thinking that the two apprentices should have some private talk, from a youngster to another, and giving them both a chance to impress him and his former mentor. He flicked his ears towards the warior and smiled. "Fracturedpaw has been doing great, I'm proud of him." he praised the cat and gave him a caring look over his shoulder. 

Fracturedpaw kept his pace even with Fallowpaw's, perking his ears at his mentors conversation with Tawnystorm. He held back a smile at Smokeface's words, not wanting to look like an overexcited kit. He then turned to Fallowpaw, quickly scrambling for words to start conversation.

"So, how's your training been going?" He asked her, managing a smooth tone.

The she-cat began purring, yet, though she did not stifle it, quieted it to simply a background audio. "Good," the she-cat said. Her pale blue gaze was surprisingly bright, or at least, around the edges, leaving a beautiful watercolour center. She drew slightly nearer to Fracturedpaw, leaving a short gap between their cheeks. "Yours?" She asked with a warm purr.

"Good to hear," Tawnystorm smiled. She found it hard to believe that just a few moons ago, Smokeface had been her apprentice, and look at him now! She couldn't deny that she was extremely proud of him, even if she tried not to show it too much. "Yes, both of those two have the markings of a fine warrior."
