The Clover's pool shines no more.. (OPEN DEATH TOPIC)

Mothkit opened her eyes and yawned. She stretched and gave her pelt a little wash.

Blacktwig then went on to nudge Sheeppaw, and then Cloverpool. He nudged Cloverpool a few times. "Hey, Cloverpool!" He said loudly. There was a brief period of silence. "Cloverpool?" He held his breath. "Cloverpool!" He was tempted to screech, but after another moment of silence, he gave up. "She's just tired," he said at last, padding to the entrance.

Mothkit knew there was something wrong, she could feel it. "Daddy, theres something wrong with Cloverpool!!" She meowed worriedly.

Blacktwig shook his head. "There can't be. There isn't." He mewed plainly, looking away with his eyes slightly clouded.

Blacktwig pressed his cheek to Cloverpool's. "Well, we're here, and I'm sure Mistywater and the others will come soon." He whispered, curling his tail around himself and resting his head on his paws, grateful for the shelter they had.

No. Don't mind if my post makes no sense, I haven't read everything so I'm assuming she is already dead.

Mistywater rushed to look at Cloverpool, the cat who had lived so long, had so many kits, but...She wasn't really part of her family line...But it was fine, what a big family she had anyways. She looked at Mothkit and Blacktwig and looked worried at Cloverpool "She's dead?" she whispered with a frown as she touched the pelt of the calico she-cat "But how?" she looked at the others worriedly.

"No, she isn't." Blacktwig said hopefully. His eyes glistened with the first signs of tears, yet he didn't cry. "Sh-She can't be."

Mistywater remembered the promise she had kept with Blacktwig and stood closer to him as she nudged the smaller black tom next to her. She looked at her body and looked down, she had seen death before, sad deaths. She didn't cry, she thought, thought of everything they still had because of her.

Stormstrike stared worriedly at Cloverpool, then he buried his nose into the elder's fur, closing his yellow eyes. He breathed in the scent of Cloverpool, not ever wanting it to fade away. At his side, he felt Dapplecloud settle down beside him, and he gave his mate a small yet swift lick on the cheek before looking back at Cloverpool again.

Sheeppaw looked up at the older cats, confused.
"What happened to her? She's just sleeping...right?" She asked, when she didn't get an answer, she raised her voice, Right?" She repeated, worry and concern tainting her voice.

Blacktwig hung his head, and a soft sob escaped him, yet it was barely audible. He pressed against his silver-furred mother with sorrow. This wasn't the first death he had seen, yet it was truly heartbreaking. Cloverpool had been right; if she closed her eyes in the midst of the night, she would never awaken again. He glared at Sheeppaw, sadness mingled with anger that she even thought Cloverpool was awake. "No," he hissed sharply, "She's... She's dead."

IC: Mothkit shook her head at her aunt Sheeppaw. "She is dead.. Daddy what is dead?" She meowed frowning.

"Cloverpool..." Blacktwig choked out, knowing that the moment he was currently experiencing might be the last time he ever said that name, other than in his thoughts. He hung his head and sobbed a few times, the pain of his mentor's death being revised once more.

Mothkit didn't know why but tears fell from her eyes. She didn't understand.. Her sibling Mottledpaw would probably know though. As if on cue the storm picked up, but it was no where near enough to cause a flood.

Blacktwig could almost read Mothkit's mind. He was glad Mottledpaw was out on a patrol, but then he would have to break the news to her. That would be quite painful for the red-and-white she-cat.

"Dapplecloud, wait up-" It was Morningshine, following the tortoiseshell into the elders den, but not knowing what was beyond the entrance.
Sadness...
Morningshine let out a high-pitched wail, her eyes opening wide as she saw Cloverpool laying there, dead, with her family gathered all around her.
"Cloverpool!" She wailed, feeling tears gather in her eyes, and one even escaped and rolled down her cheek, and onto the ground.

Halfpaw raced into the elders den, right after hearing Morningshine's wail. She saw Cloverpool, and she ended up choking on a...sob? Silently, without greeting anyone, she padded over to her parents, Stormstrike and Dapplecloud, and settled down beside them, pressing against her mother and watching the lifeless body of the dead elder.

Swanpaw padded in slowly, staying towards the back. Now, Cloverpool was gone. Everyone was. Softpaw, Gentlenose, and Jayflight were all gone. She shook her head, narrowing her blue eyes and slinking over towards Sheeppaw. She didn't know the white she-cat very well, but at least Sheeppaw was apart of her family, like everyone else there. She dipped her head, in respect for the dead elder.

Blacktwig didn't look up to greet Morningshine. His blue-violet gaze trained on no one but Cloverpool's lifeless body. He couldn't imagine how long her life had been. His gaze flicked along her body, her legs sprawled out like a dead mouse after the hunt, once full of life. He whimpered.
