It was never shown to him, never by Breezewhisker or anybody else. The stone had a hole in the middle, seemly peaceful. He had never stopped to take a whiff out of the air. It was plainly curiosity, that led him straight into the halfstone. Blackpaw stepped inside the stone, and was quickly devoured by the family of foxes inside.
