A Black Moth's Wing (Closed Bonding Time for Cloverpool)

Mothkit giggled before doing the same. She stared up at the starry night sky watching the stars twinkle in the dark night.

"You know, I love her, and I want her to be with us now..." Blacktwig trailed off, and his eyes revealed a glimmer of sorrow. "But she can't be. She won't ever, but I still meet her... And that's our little secret, okay?" He asked with hope, voice quiet as a whisper. Even being here with Mothkit reminded Blacktwig of his first meeting with his mate; he was Blackpaw, and she was Emberpaw. Two love-struck apprentices, who had nothing to do but be with each other.

Mothkit nodded. "Yes. Our secret." She agreed.

A bout of happiness washed over Blacktwig at his daughter's words. "Thank you," the tom said, nodding his head with his perse-violet orbs glazed with joy.

Mothkit purred. "Anything for you dad." She meowed.

Blacktwig once again felt pride well up inside of him at being called a father. "I couldn't thank you more," he purred with a silent, hearty chuckle.

Mothkit laughed. "Do you think I'll ever become a warrior dad?" She meowed.

"Oh, of course!" Blacktwig exclaimed, voice echoing in the night as he watched the stars dance in the cloudy night sky above him. He turned to Mothkit. "And the best one, too." He purred in a whisper.

Mothkit purred and rolled over to her father snuggling up next to him. "Your the best dad!"

Blacktwig licked his daughter on the cheek, then a soft laugh escaped him. "Of course I am - what can I say, I'm good at everything!" The black tom joked.

Mothkit purred. "Well of course you are. Your my dad! Dad's are the best at everything." She meowed going along with his joke. But she meant this, Mothkit was a total daddy's girl.

Blacktwig batted at Mothkit's nose, claws sheathed into his paws. "And you're the best at being the cutest," he purred adoringly, looking into his daughter's shimmering hazel eyes.

Mothkit purred. "Well I am my father's daughter!" She chirped.

"Ah, you," Blacktwig purred, twitching his whiskers, bound to tickle Mothkit's cheek. "Of course! I, am the great Blackstar, and no one will stop me!" He pretended, standing up with a painful stretch of his back leg.

Mothkit giggled when her father whiskers tickled her cheek. "Oh yeah well I'm the great Mothstrike. Greatest warrior of all!!" She meowed jumping up.
