Blacktwig nodded. His gaze remained on Pepper, but he could feel himself getting tired. "I will," he promised. He then gave a long yawn. He stood up as soon as comfort began to lap him like soft waves. "I need to get back to camp to get to sleep," he meowed, with a dip of his head. "Goodnight, Pepper, Bat."

Blacktwig trotted through the ferns and brambles relatively slowly, his devious personality uncommon nowadays. He headed off, and soon made it to his warm nest, hearing Pepper's words at the last moment. "You too," he muttered vertiginously, not sure if she could hear.
