Fallenpaw's hunting patrol. POST MY APPRENTICE POST.

Featherstar waited patiently in the clearing for her newest apprentice to wake up. She decided today was a good day to train her.

occ: im a girl.....

Fallenpaw woke in the apprentices den and streached. she padded out to find her mentor waiting for her. "Hi Featherstar! What are we doing today?"

OOC: Shet, I feel bad D:

Featherstar smiled brightly. "I think today I'll take you hunting." She purred, and proceeded to pad out of camp, and into territory.

Fallenpaw fallowed her mentor out of camp.

A quick movement of paws brought the pair towards a thick clumping of heather. "Now, open your mouth, and tell me what you smell." She asked. A fresh rabbit trail weaved in and out of the clumps.

Fallenpaw opened her mouth and within moments she smelled fresh rabbit near the clumps of heather. She pointed with her tail in the direction.

Featherstar smiled. "Now when you find the rabbit, crouch like this." She said, getting into her prey-stalking position with practiced accuracy.

Fallenpaw crouched down copying her mentor then adjusted her position till it was just right. "Like this?" she asked.

Featherstar nodded. "Now, make sure your down wind from the rabbit, or it will be able to scent you before you even see it." She ordered.

Fallenpaw stepped a little to the left to be compleatly downwind.

"Now when you see the rabbit, bit it so that you don't break the skin, but you do break its neck bone. So that someone later on can enjoy it." She taught, watching her apprentice carefully.

Fallenpaw nodded and waited for the rabbit to appear. All of a sudden the rabbit darted out of the bush and fallenpaw chased it.

Now for a rabbit, if you roll a 1-2 you cant catch it.
If you roll a 3-6 you can catch it.

Featherstar sniffed after the rabbit, and when she saw it, pounced, grabbing its neck in her jaws and killing it.
