Blacktwig's mouth gaped with horror as he backed away, shaking his head. "Sheeppaw," he growled, sadness mixed in with fear and rage. He butted past the white apprentice, crouching at Falconpaw's limp body. He raised his head, eyes watering. How could she have done this? He thought, blinded with fury. He was about to let a piercing yowl slice the air, mourning and grieving for the dead apprentice, but instead he whipped around, eyes narrowed. "You did this." He said, voice lowered to a whisper as his tail lashed. "Why?" His tone was muffled with sorrow. "I trusted you," he hissed, "And you killed him."

"Why do you care about a ShadowClan cat?" She spat, her fur fluffed up and her eyes glittering with a wild light. She felt no remorse or guilt at all about killing the apprentice. She believed that Falconpaw was cowardly, stupid, and wasted his breathe on insults and threats that he couldn't live up to. One less problem for her. Sheeppaw still didn't understand why Blacktwig even cared.
"It's not like you ever knew him! And I didn't even mean to do it, dust got into my eyes!"

Nutpaw took Blacktwig being distracted as a time to attack. She bowled him over, hissing with rage and gaining her sudden strength from the anger she felt. Sheeppaw had killed her Clanmate! She held Blacktwig down, growling in his face, irritably.

Blacktwig was about to send a response before he was bowled down. He struggled, but to no avail. He choked a bit, paws hooked against the ground with the writhing. "Let me go!" He protested silently, however, Nutpaw didn't seem like she would release him anytime soon.

Blizzardshine was about to answer Mudfoot when a flash of white caught her attention, her eyes soon landing on Sheeppaw as she fought against the ShadowClan apprentice. She couldn’t help but let out a deep sigh, she didn’t want to fight, she really didn’t, reason why, of all the cats she was the very last to get involved. An even then she wasn’t the one to attack, but the one attacked, almost falling with the strong blow of the older warrior.

With still calm eyes and an apologetic expression on her face, the white warrior quickly reacted to the attack in the small space they had to move, knowing she couldn’t just stand there and watch her clanmates fight while doing nothing. With a hiss, she moved with the speed of a snake when striking its prey, getting a tight hold of Mudfoot’s scruff before shaking violently, though being careful to not let his head hit the walls of the cave. She really wasn’t planning to get blood on her paws that day, and in no other day if possible.

The commotion was quick to drag her attention, looking to where the other cats were fighting and she couldn’t help but feel her eyes filling with tears, ears and tail that only a couple of seconds before were held high with pride now low with grief and shame. She looked at Sheeppaw as she spoke, shaking her head slowly with her words “A life is still a life Sheeppaw…killing a cat from a rival clan is just as good as if you killed one of your own, even if it was an accident. If this cat’s mother’s was on this patrol, what would you say to her now? How you expect his family and friends to feel when they find out that he died?” Her voice was no longer soft of gentle, but terribly serious with a glint of sadness and anger, something really rare on Blizzardshine. Anyone that knew her well enough, would know that they could count more whiskers on their face, than times she had ever used that tone.


Blizzardshine used Scruff Shake on Mudfoot, dealing 13 damage and costing 25 stamina. Mudfoot is stunned for two turns.

At first thinking that he had the advantage, the tom soon realized that he underestimated the she-cat. Not able to see where everyone was and hearing meows of despair about some cat killing another, Mudfoot became distracted and before he knew it, he was being shook back and forth like a dog did to a piece of prey.
