Hawkkit scuttled out of the nursery, tripping over her own paws. She was so tall for a she-kit, and her paws were much too big. She stumbled in front of Ashkit, huffing out air as she hit the ground. The small kit moaned as she stood, licking her chestfur in embarrassment.
