OOC: Moonlight wasn’t really KO'd, Icee, since she changed sides and Blazingheart is a StarClan cat as well, she’s still able to battle.

Moonlight’s body tensed and she closed her eyes tightly as soon as the Dark Forest warrior got closer to them with his claws unsheathed, waiting for the blow that she knew would steal the remaining strength that she still had in her, but it never came. She slowly opened her eyes only to find out that the blow she thought was meant for her landed on Crowstar. Did Darkwing thought that she was too weak to keep fighting? Well, she was going to prove him wrong.

Nightpaw looked at Meadowpaw as she collapsed, defeated after just one blow of the Dark Forest ghost they were facing. This wasn’t good, if she doubted it before now she knew it for sure, one hit from this cat would be more than enough to defeat her. Instead of trying to escape or show fear after the realization, Nightpaw’s expression only became fiercer as she sprang onto his back with claws unsheathed and a yowl more fitting of a fully grown warrior than an apprentice. If she was going down she was going to make sure to carve a reminder of the strength of StarClan in Thicketpaw’s memory with her own claws, even if she was only an apprentice.

Blizzardshine flinched badly as soon as the sound of cracking bone reached her ears after Greenleaf attacked Scorchfrost, immediately rushing to his aid and forgetting completely about the battle. She was just way too worried for the cat that she had come to consider as one of her closest friends, lowering her ears as she listened to his words “You’ll tell that to her yourself, you’ll have to tolerate me for several moons before joining the stars, Scorchfrost” She said with her usual friendly smile, trying to cheer up the older tom, even if tears slowly pooled in her own eyes. She had seen death before, she didn’t want to lose someone else again, and even less like this.

She almost jumped, startled by Cloverpool’s voice, her eyes immediately landing on her’s. She then remembered about Greenleaf and got in a battling position again only to find out that Cloverpool had already finished the job. Her eyes then traveled across the battlefield, witnessing the fights and taking a deep breath before turning to see her two clanmates “I need to go help with the battle…can you look after him, please?” Blizzardshine’s gaze landed on Scorchfrost, she would never forgive herself if she left him alone and he was killed because of that.

Time moved slowly as Darkstar took in Treestep's words, and then had Lionsong tear into the leader's throat. Through the agonizing pain, she could feel every single tear in her flesh, and the sickening warmth of her own blood pooling under her. The she-cat felt herself drifting away, the pain in her neck, Lionsong, the scent of blood, and the yowling of the battle all fading to a sort of white noise. Her body relaxed as death took over.

Darkstar's eyes flickered open weakly and a pale silver light fills them until it fades away. A rough scent came to her tongue and a familiar face came before her. "Father!" She grinned, and tried to stand, but Foxfang kept her from doing so by placing a paw onher shoulder.
"Be still," he told her, forcing his nose against her throat. Slowly, the gaping hole sealed itself and the old warrior stepped back. He was no longer grey and weakening, but as strong as he had been in his prime many moons ago.
"The clan has missed you," she murmured, locking eyes with the ginger tom, whose starry fur glittered with blood from the battle. He could only snort.
"They don't need me anymore. Prove what this generation can do. We're just seeing how it will turn out." Foxfang shook out his fur. "Now get back to the fight!" He gave his daughter a somewhat battle-hungry grin while the scene faded back, and he dashed into the sea of cats to fight again.

"He'll never change." She found herself on the ground, and saw Lionsong looking triumphant. "Didn't you think I'd come back?" Darkstar lunged for the Riverclan warrior, and dug her claws into the warrior's throat, only somewhat on accident. She watched her oppenent flounder until she lay dead beneath her and she stepped back, shaking the blood out of her paws in disgust. It was true that they were a Dark Forest loyalist, and she had killed her just a moment ago, but she hoped she'd never have to do it again. Slowly, she turned to Treestep. "Are you sure?"

"Shouldn't have let my guard down. But what difference would it make?" She was far too disoriented to stand, the sounds and smells around her were melding into each other, as if there was a recent rain. As she lay helpless, a feeling of nausea overtook her. Something was wrong for sure, this had never happened before. "Probably from being shook about." She raised her head and hissed, with little palpable sincerity, "Do it! Finish it!" She probably wasn't even facing her opponent anyway. Pathetic. Did she actually want to die? She couldn't know for sure herself.

The tiny warrior hissed in pain as the Dark Forest cat ripped the fur from her shoulder with a savageness she had only seen in predators. For a moment she alknowledged that she would probably lose this fight. Then, when Morningstar was defeated, an ember of hope appeared in her heart, but it soon faltered with the revealing of the true leader. They'd have to fight harder. And what she meant by that was by laying lifelessly on the ground. Spiderfur pretended to faint, falling limp in Smokestorm's grip, waiting for him to drop her. When he did, she waited a heartbeat or so before exploding in a flurry or claws and teeth.

Even in the midst of battle, a small smile was on Nightbird's face. "I'll try, if you'll let me leave afterwards." The little Starclan cat bit hard on Sunclaw's scruff and refused to let go, although there seemed to be little actual malice in her actions, as if they were just having a friendly training scuffle.

Leopardfang caught a flash of black racing beside him, and his heart felt like it had forgotten to beat. He felt a rush of emotion at the sight of Shimmerheart. I love her so much... It was more of a realization than anything else. Had Leopardfang told her that recently? No, he couldn't have. Not with his absence, and not with how busy he had been even before then. It seemed that he was a little too distracted to keep his eyes on his target, and the ghostly she-cat leaped at Shimmerheart before he could stop her. Even so, the black she-cat was still able to fight back with the fierceness that he had always loved. The spotted tom turned back on his opponent, raising on his hind legs and bringing his paws heavily down onto her head.

One-eye snarled, too blinded by anger to continue fighting tactfully. She swiped wildly at her enemies, just wishing that she could go back in time. The last moon was the closest she'd ever been to being happy ever since she lost her sister. And where was she now? Probably up there, with the stars, shining down and laughing at her with the rest of them for being so stupid for all these seasons... One-eye's claws hooked into the flesh of Halfmoon's face, leaving nasty gouge marks in their place. For now, the only thing that could redeem One-eye was her strength and she would use it to vanquish her enemies.

Smokestorm was admittedly shocked when the little she-cat jerked back to life, recoiling from the pain. He growled angrily, determined to finish this pointless fight once and for all. His great leader, Smokefang, had revealed herself, and she would put an end to the rebellion. Forget that weakling Morningstar, Smokestorm himself had accomplished worlds more than that fool! "I'm about to send you sniveling back to your worthless ancestor, weakling... Don't bother begging." He brought his heavy paw down onto her skull. He turned away, his yellow eyes closely watching his leader's conquest.

Smokestorm used Front Paw Blow on Spiderfur, dealing 20 damage and using 5 stamina.

Firepaw glared up into Wishpaw's clear blue eyes, pure hatred radiating from his own green ones. "Lies, all lies!" He spat, having worked himself into a frenzy. "StarClan picks the weak-willed and gives them an honorary name, just so they can die as many times as StarClan would use them! My fate is mine alone and you can't keep me confined... I'll always find another way... You wouldn't understand. All of your battles are fought for you." The tail-end of his sentence was followed by sudden uncontrollable laughter, his eyes narrowing and his mouth twisting into a condescending smirk. "Meet me again sometime! The Mist, perhaps? Or are StarClan pawns too afraid to do anything by themselves? I'll show you a real fight, kitten..." The scarred red tom burst into another fit of laughter. His form dissipated quickly into a black smoke that faded in mere heartbeats, the echoing cackles still barely audible to those who were straining their ears hard enough.

Smokefang knew she was stronger than them. She could pull through this fight if she took out the weak ones. She could easily take out the living warrior. Turning her attention to Ferretshine the leader went forward and sunk her teeth into the cats pelt. The smokey leader turned her head and pulled taking a chunk out of the cat.

Kestrelstorm whipped around to see his sister fall to the ground. Poor tiny Spiderfur. Kestrelstorm had never been close to his sister, but a sudden urge of protection of the family tree through him into a rage. With a yowl, Kestrelstorm leaped past another set of battling cats, landing in front of Smokestorm. In a flash, Kestrelstorm gripped the loose skin behind the Dark Forest warrior's neck and thrashed it side to side violently.

Kestrelstormed used Scruff Shake on Smokestorm.

Saltpelt's attention directed at both Thrushstar and Ashwing, who were attacking her sister. "StarClan cowards, we should have killed you where you stood all those moons ago. The weak deputy, the mad leader. At least I kept my clan safe, no one was harmed until you two interfered."

Leaning downwards, she tightened her haunches and claws at the ground before she launched herself at the ShadowClan leader, tearing at his considerable bulk. "Now, get off my sister, foxheart!" Her claws drew blood as did her snapping jaws, but battered, she struggled to hold on firmly.

Wishpaw watched her enemy disappear before her very eyes. His words didn't faze her, she just narrowed her eyes.
"This was a real fight," She murmured to herself, "That I won."
She had only then turned her attention to Smokefang, the cat who claimed to be the Dark Forest leader. How could a Dark Forest cat have multiple lives? Couldn't only StarClan do that?
She was tired from fighting Firepaw, so she padded over to the outskirts of Fourtrees and watched four cats fight Smokefang. with popcorn in her paws and 3D glasses on

Cinderpaw darted over to Ferretshine, quickly shoving putting cobwebs on the visible wounds. She then dropped a poppy seed into her mouth.
She was a bit fearful being so close to Smokefang, but she was able to quickly dart away into the cover of the bushes.

Cinderpaw used Heal on Ferretshine giving 10 HP and costing 20 SP.

When Ashwing took Breezeheart, the Shadowclan leader quickly turned his attention back to Saltpelt. He knew he wasn't free from this battle yet, but he hoped that it would end soon. His injuries burned under his fur but the adrenaline that pumped through him pushed him forward. As he looked at the Dark Forest cat in front of him, he could tell that she was not going to let up. There was no point in trying to show mercy. It would only come back to bite him on the tail. Claws unsheathed and jaw clenched, Thrushstar prepared for her next attack, only to be thrown off for a minute of the sudden nonsense that she had begun to spit.  

"You think what you have done has... kept your clan safe? You've barely seen the beginning of it! I've... seen what you monsters of the Dark Forest have done... and will do for the sake of power! You aren't... interested in keeping clans safe! If it weren't for us, for Starclan... there wouldn't be a forest in the... next few moons! Everyone would be at war fighting to be... the strongest which would only lead to ultimate... destruction. Why have new leaders if... there wouldn't be clans to lead? But I... see that nothing will change your mind, Windclan cat. I was going to try to show mercy... for Ashwing, but I fear it's too late. You have chosen your fate!" He yowled with his broken voice. Her words had angered him, fueling his energy and giving him a little more life in his old bones, and as she launched herself at him, he was ready for it. When she latched onto him, Thrushstar gave a one last furious howl as he threw her down with all of his might, hitting her with one powerful blow after another after she was down. His teeth ripped at her fur and tore the flesh underneath. Part of him wanted to stop after a few hits but there was something deep inside that made him keep going. It was almost like he couldn't control himself. He wasn't going to stop until he knew that she couldn't get up again.

Breezeheart's eyes widened at the site of Thrushstar tearing her sister to shreds. She didn't deserve it. She felt rage grow inside her chest. She didn't deserve that! Who cares if she followed the dark forest? She didn't kill anyone! "Saltpelt!" She yelled out for her sister, but it was useless she couldn't moved. She growled and through off Ashwing. No! She had to stop him!

The black warrior stood. "You speak of Starclan like you are so honorable! When you aren't Thrushstar! You are as bad as you claim the dark forest to be! Hurting my sister for just being on their side?! You don't deserve a place among starclan! You don't deserve a place here!" The black warrior growled and lowered her head. "No wonder Shadowclan betrays you so much!" She shouted at the leader. Yeah she knew about that. Dark Forest warriors like to chat. With that the black warrior launched herself at the Shadowclan leader her claws tearing into his flesh. Her teeth grasping one of his ears and tearing it off.

Saltpelt writhed in agony as chunks were torn out of her and her white pelt stained red. At first, the warrior had resisted, snarling at trying to snap or claw at whatever flesh she could reach, but as Thrushstar's blows grew in ferocity and anger, hers weakened to light bats that didn't do much at all. Eventually she gave up, her blue eyes looking sorrowfully at her sister, still fighting for her after everything.

She thought of her kits, her family. She thought of the days spent wandering the snow-covered fields with Pinedusk, the days curled up in a warm nest with Breezeheart and Pinedusk by her side, the way that Feathertail would curl around them. It seemed not so long ago. Yet now Pinedusk was gone, dead before his time. And now she would join him, she only hoped Breezeheart would escape this fight. They both had kits, her precious Heatherkit and Emberkit were waiting for her to turn, while Breezeheart had Sootkit. What would they do if both of them died? Their kits needed them, it looked like StarClan had a chance of winning, and if they did, would anyone look after a traitor's kits? "Breeze-" Saltpelt gasped through the pain, trying to tell her sister to leave her.

Hesitation struck Thrushstar for only a heartbeat before suddenly he was tumbling with Breezeheart on top of him. He had vaguely heard her words as he cried out in pain from the bite that took his ear. Instantly he could feel the blood pouring from his ear down the side of his head as he left Saltpelt and turned towards Breezeheart. A sort of animosity flashed in his eyes as his claws relentlessly dug into the dirt beneath him. His tail lashed behind him as his ears--or what was left of them-- fell flat on his head. "You have no idea what... you're talking about," he growled. "You think that what I've done is... in any way close to what you snakehearts have done? This... This is justice! I am sending you back to... where you came from!" With one more ferocious battle cry, Thrushstar lunged at Breezeheart with a glazed look across his face. It had become fairly obvious that something within him had snapped with the Windclan she-cat's words. He latched on to her shoulders, quickly digging his claws down her sides. Within seconds, he had used all of his contained fury to throw her down, landing one last blow to her throat. It wasn't enough to kill her immediately but it tore a good chunk of her flesh.

When both she-cats were on the ground, Thrushstar finally stopped, his breathing strained and painful. His mind finally cleared enough to see what he had done, but he felt no remorse. He looked at both of them, taking some time to look into their injuries. There was no way that either one of them could survive. He was half surprised that Saltpelt was still alive. Both of them were battered and torn, sitting just on the verge of death. Closing his eyes, Thrushstar turned from both of them, walking a short distance away through the mess around him. He couldn't focus on it though. His mind was buzzing and his eyes glossy. Everything in his body hurt but he kept walking away from them, only stopping to focus on what seemed to be the final battle. Almost everyone was ganging up on the true Dark Forest leader. There was a bit of hope in him again that this was coming to an end.
