New Moon [Final DF TOPIC]

Eyes lit up with delight, Blackpaw turned towards his sister. "Ah, Meadowpaw!" He greeted, tone differing greatly from his solemn expression. He flicked his tail, and pressed his muzzle to his sister's as he spoke. Blackpaw was clearly attempting to hide his despair.

(Too lazy to check everyone's post, ima just bring all the cats in)

Otterpaw padded in behind her leader, she sat in a spot that was clear of cats. She didn't want to get too smashed like she always feared of happening in a gather.

Muddyfang walked behind Webtail, his fluffy tail held up high as he walked. He couldn't decided if he should of stayed in camp with his kits or not, he worried about them sometimes.

Adderpaw walked behind Crowstar, his fluffy body danced as he walked proudly, this was his first gathering and nothing was gonna hold him back, hopefully.

Mistywater walked in the group of ThunderClan cats, she didn't expect so many different cats at the gather this moon. She hadn't been at a gathering for a while, last time she knew it was a mess, she hoped it wasn't gonna be like last time. The though of that gathering always gave her shivers down her spine.

Eveningsong followed WindClan into Fourtrees, not at all disturbed by the gloomy atmosphere. It was similar to the actual Dark Forest, which was probably why she was comfortable in it. The Dark Forest ghost sat down amongst the other WindClan cats, living and dead, and let her gaze glance around at the cats as they mingled with each other. She decided not to go over and start a conversation with someone as if she was desperate, but if someone were to come over and speak to her then she'd surely respond. She silently wanted to get this Gathering done and over with. Even when she was alive, she didn't really like being chosen to go to Gatherings, she had always wanted to just go to sleep.

Meadowpaw purred as her brother greeted her, but it was little strange. He didn't usually talk in that kind of tone. She hoped everything was okay. "Hey you okay?" she asked, her pale green eyes shining worriedly. Maybe all the tension was getting to him. She wouldn't be surprised if that was what it was because it sure was powerful. To her at least. She was surprised it wasn't affecting her as much, but she was usually pretty good at staying calm in most situations.

Stormpaw padded in with ThunderClan, sitting beside one of his sisters, Mistywater. He glanced around at the gloominess of Fourtrees with a sigh, and stared with disgust down at the dampness of the ground. This was his first Gathering, so he wasn't very knowledgeable about the normal happening and appearance of Fourtrees, but he knew that it certainly didn't look like this when StarClan was still around. He felt uncomfortable here, and wanted to be back at camp instead of being here at this Gathering, surrounded by Dark Forest converts and ghosts from every Clan. He had only been a kit when the Dark Forest had come and taken over the Clans at the last Gathering, and now his first Gathering had to be this way.

Suddenly, Blackpaw's tone fell. His gaze became frighteningly dull, and his tail flickered. "I thought you wouldn't ask." He shuffled nearer, just far enough so that his breath didn't stir her fur. "I have known the Dark Forest forever. To know there is something else -" Blackpaw's tone grew distressed. "It put too much pressure on me!" It seemed to strain Blackpaw to keep from yowling out, all across the clearing.

Featherpaw bounded into the Fourtrees after her Clan, heart beating rapidly with excitement. After days of battle training and hunting patrols with her mentor, which she had to admit, were very repetitive and boring. There was nothing like crouching down and tracking a mouse for a minute (what felt like a minute) only to have it escape right from her grasp, or even doing the same battle move for fifty times over. And that didn't even include the apprentice chores. Apprenticeship is fun, they said. It's the best best best part of your life, they also said, the usually impatient she-cat grumped inwardly.

The ThunderClan she-cat glanced around the huge and very noisy group of cats (how leaders got them quiet enough to start the Gathering, she didn't know) briefly and finding no cat of interest, she made her way over to her siblings, whom she had gotten quite fond of over the span of six moons. They were quite irritating (from her perfectionist viewpoint) but they were patient with her personality and frequent temper tantrums when she was a kit, so she cut them some slack most of the time. 

The black-and-white she-cat sat down beside Blackpaw and licked her chest fur down, listening in quietly to their conversation without saying much. It's easier to avoid insulting them if she kept her mouth shut anyway. Then Blackpaw said something in a quite elevated tone and Featherpaw straightened. Something was bothering her brother again. (Of course) "They call it StarClan, right?" she queried, since she was never one to listen to other cats' conversations.

Redpaw crinkled his nose. "Can't say I'm sure. I don't know if he's coming tonight. I'll keep an eye out for him." He gave himself a quick lick.

(How will Feather and Red meet? Maybe she goes and sits near him or something. I just don't want him to ditch Willow, lol)

Smokefang followed the rest of Shadowclan into the fourtrees area. She was happy. All of these cats followed them. They were loyal to the dark forest. She knew that some of them still held onto Starclan but they would be rooted out with time. With their strong leaders, and even with an actual leader on their side, things would go their way. The smokey cat soon took a seat among the other cats.

The trio I had stuck with Thunderclan showed up as well. Zeno, Whitefur, and Stormpaw all followed Treestep into the gathering, though Zeno stuck to the back of the crowd like normal. Stormpaw followed Whitefur through the crowd of cats then sat down among the others.

Crowstar looked around at the other leaders. They were all here. Was this going to go like all of the other gatherings they had under Starclan? Or was Morningstar supposed to join them? What were they supposed to do? He could only assume until something else happened. The black fluffy leader stood and let out a yowl signaling that the gathering had started. "I hope this is right.." He muttered to himself. "Skyclan has been fairing well. There is plenty of prey in our trees. We have named new apprentices, and we have named a new warrior, Moonlight, who is with us today." That was all the leader had to say so he stepped back someone else to speak.

Blackpaw twisted his head to look at Moonlight nonchalantly. He licked a forepaw, having the same, unimpressed look that was usual for his nature. Blackpaw returned his gaze to the ground, for a split second, ears flicking. He then reverted his gaze to a pluck of small, red flowers. He shut his eyes, and imagined them being crushed into a pulp as a battle raged on. A shiver ran along his spine, and he jolted back to reality.

Owlpaw walked into the clearing alongside Amberclaw, taking his spot between the Shadowclan cats. Finally, his first gathering, and a Dark Foerest one to top it. It was clear that the apprentice was in a really good mood this time. He looked up as soon as Crowstar started to speak, listening to his words.

Blizzardshine stepped into the clearing alongside the rest of Thunderclan, her usual cheerful personality like a light between all this darkness. She took a free spot not that far from where the Dark Forest leaders were. She was thinking to start a chat with some of the cats around her when Crowstar’s voice reached her ears. Talking while the leaders did would be just plain rude, so she decided to just pay attention to their words.

Nightpaw was as far from the rest of her clan as possible, though not enough to make it look suspicious. She couldn’t help but wish that the gathering would be over as soon as possible, not wanting to spend more time than the absolutely necessary here.

Moonlight puffed out her chest with pride when she was mentioned by Crowstar, she really was trying to not look cocky or anything, but she really couldn’t help but feel honored.

Webtail followed Crowstar as he started the gathering. Listening to the SkyClan leader. Things are going well so far. He figured that Morningstar wouldn't make an appearance. What would there be to report. Unless they felt like announcing their newest arrival. That would be repetitive, clan leaders reported their own grievances and losses. He stepped up to speak. "ShadowClan has lived nicely as well. Many new kits have arrived this Greenleaf as well as apprentices. We have had three new warriors, two are among us, Muddyfang and Littlebrook. No violent quarrels have happened along our borders nor have any other clan scents been found on our territory." He finished, moving back to allow the next leader to speak.

Honeyblossom followed Ivyfall into the gathering, sitting down beside her.

Briarpaw followed his mother and sat down on the opposite side of her.

Hickorypaw followed his father into the gathering but then branched off after his brother and his crush Willowpaw. The brown tortoiseshell tom flicked his tail and his green eyes locked on the two. "Hey Willowpaw!" He purred and brushed his pelt with hers before sitting down next to her.

Rainpaw followed Treestep and sat down next to his sister Plumpaw.

Plumpaw had followed Treestep but padded away once they were in the clearing.

Shadowpaw followed silently and sat down by her self away from everyone.

Coldpaw followed her sister and then padded away to see her nephew Blackpaw. "Hey Blackpaw!" She purred and sat down.

Badgerpaw followed Rainpaw and Plumpaw and then sat down next to them, and then they were soon joined by Shadowpaw who had given up being by herself and joined the rest of her friends.
