| Adderpaw sat just outside the entrance of camp, his skinny tail flicking beside him. He stared off at the moorland that made up WindClan territory, watching the horizontal waves of heat. It was early morning and the heat of Greenleaf had already set in, but he knew he had to go on a patrol and figured he might as well get it out of the way early. His ears leaned backwards on his head, listening for the sound of any cats getting through the gorse to leave camp. He preferred to be alone but knew that a patrol had to consist of more than one cat, especially a new apprentice. He waited patiently, hoping a few cats would appear soon so he could get moving. ______________________________________ Adderpaw - WindClan - Tom

| Nightpaw looked at Adderpaw at the entrance of the camp and padded towards her, Nightpaw needed some time away from camp, and if Adderpaw was waiting for a patrol this could be the perfect opportunity. The wound over her face caused by her father after she dared to challenge Saltpelt and the Dark Forest was healing just fine, though it was still clearly visible and there was no way that it wouldn’t leave a scar once the healing process was over.
“Hey Adderpaw” She greeted with a smile “Are you waiting for some cats to go on a patrol?” She meowed, hoping that the answer would be a positive one. ______________________________________ Stormkit
